Has everyone seen the new marriage candidates? Sandy and Clint
To be honest, I’m interested in neither because I rarely go to the desert and Clint is just Clint
Hopefully he gets a redemption arc and isn’t as much as a weirdo

Has anyone any info on the haunted chocolatier? The new game from concerned ape, maker of stardew valley. It’s still under development but he hasn’t updated the blog since last year and I’m getting worried
I love stardew valley. Played it through each time there’s a new update but I’m really dying to have the magic of discovering it all for the first time again.

I love the island but walnuts can get tedious especially after the first few dozen. If anyone doesn't want to spend the money, I'd recommend checking out the walnut run videos on youtube, a lot can be found without going into the volcano once you know where to look, and you're using good/great luck days for it. I bought the last 15 or so walnuts in my second save but knowing where to find them made it easier to gather the rest. My first farm is still a mess because I couldn't be arsed to try any longer and the game didn't have the joja bird back then

I used to despise the volcano, I found it even harder than early to mid levels of skull cavern but after crafting a crap load of bombs and stocking up on explosive ammo, it got a lot easier and more fun. Though I only bother going in to farm dragon tooth and cinder shard tbh. Hate collecting both, I wish we could use crystalarium for the shards as well

Seriously considering picking up Stardew again now thanks to this thread. Although I'm debating buying it for the Switch. I know, no mods, but Stardew gives me cosy curled up on the sofa vibes and I can't game like that on my PC

So Ive started playing this non-stop since reading this thread. Got through Spring and Summer of year 3. Just entered Fall. Had my second baby with my lazy ass husband Sam (I thought it was Alex). I'm focusing on artisan cheeses and wines and that to earn money.

My partner has finally started playing a co-op farm with me, and I can’t even begin to explain how happy it makes me

He keeps asking me how I know everything and I’m like “this is what happens when your addicted to a game”

I get abit and die laughing at him trying to fish. Bless him he does try

I’ve finally managed to 100% complete the game! I’ve been full on addicted again over the last few months and now I need to find a new game to play for a bit. I don’t have the energy to start over on a new farm yet

Let us know if you find a game! I feel a little burnt out on Stardew at the mo. Cannot wait for him to release Haunted Chocolatier

My Steamdeck came back from repair today. I’m so happy. Straight onto a new farm as soon as I got home from work

I can’t stop playing again this week. I’ve picked up my Switch version and I really need to get after those walnuts but I haven’t yet:

I’m also playing on my laptop, I’m only on Spring 3 of that one. I’ve forgotten how to get is it void essence for the wizard: I know it’s in the mines somewhere but not reached it yet.

Question for all those that play pc, if I got stardew from gampass can I install mods on it? Or will I need to buy stardew from steam or somewhere else to install mods, just got myself a gaming pc an really want to try some of the mods out there, is there anywhere I should look for them? Don't want to download anything that might harm the files

I went to skull caverns whilst drunk. Do not recommend!! Ha ha I was doing alright at first but then I got cocky and set off a bomb but then didn’t eat something to bring my health back up just jumped straight down to the next level and got my arse handed to me by the monsters there so annoying!! Wasted about 30 staircases, drunk me didn’t consider just closing the game and restarting the day either

Thanks guys I did the strawberries! And sadly yep have already lost a load of cauliflowers due to me not knowing how long the seasons were haha

What are some of the best ways to make money? I have cows and chickens for daily eggs and milk currently

Cheese is great, also eggs are a loved gift for Alex, but pigs is the money, once you start getting the truffles you will get good money but you will probably be into your second year by then

I didn't know there was so much in it like marriages an kids will be fun to interact with all the characters, usually am terrible at hoarding things so it's nice to know that might be helpful lol

I also just play at my own pace.

My tip would be to buy the strawberry seeds at the spring Fayre and plant them that night. I till and water the land before I go so they just need planted.

I have it on all platforms I got it on Xbox through gamepass, bought it for my switch so I could play while traveling, bought it for pc so I could mod an change it all then got it ps5 so I can play with friends lol

I'm so excited for the update! I do have a steam deck so I can try it out but I'm more a ps5/switch player which won't be out for a bit but I'm impatient

I got to year 5 on a save once as I did 100%! I had lost my dad in 2021 and I needed something that I already new so didn't require too much brain power and wanted to have a goal to get 100% on my switch which I did!
It's a very special game for me.
