I was a huge Spice Girls fan back in the day! They started up while I was in primary school. I can remember taping TOTP and sitting in my PJs watching them sing Mama and wishing I could look that cool when I was grown up. Never happened...
We also used to "play" Spice Girls at break, where essentially everyone was named as a member, by the time this was done it was time for lessons again
Also can I please share my proud mum moment- my youngest daughter who is 3 is now a self-proclaimed Spice Girls fan, asks for them constantly on Alexa and in the car and has been spotted in her car seat muttering along to Stop and Wannabe

Good god this brings back memories, first of all let me preface I was a prancing gay 10 year old boy OBSESSED with this band and did a WHOLE performance in one of those summer camp things that seemed to be popular in the 90s (did anyone else go?)
