Can someone just explain why this incident - surely one of the worst crimes in Britain in recent years - is seemingly 'not being discussed' much in the mainstream media? (relative to it's severity)

The main focus is on the riots currently

There hasn't been any 'interviews' with the taxi driver, the other dance teacher in attendance, the victims families (apart from the Auntie overseas), also not much about the timeline of the attack and how it 'unfolded'

The man who entered the building and saw the killer on the stairs said he first saw a lady in a car with some of the surviving girls. Was this the second dance teacher? There hasn't been detailed reports of what happened inside as yet.

Is there no CCTV near the Hart Centre? the only CCTV is him walking up and down a road near his house at 11.11am i think
Some of people you mention there are primary witnesses in a criminal investigation. They will have been advised not to speak to the media but even if they did, they wouldn't be able to say a lot.

Also, they are probably traumatised and don't want to speak out.

I'm glad it's not all over the media like some cases have been. It gives the people directly impacted a bit of breathing space. Unfortunately, I think that's only happened because the rioting is better reporting 'value'.

If you read the thread properly you will see I was following on with the conversation at the time
I've read the thread thanks.
What are your statistics for all the new immigrants where you live not working and never will?

One minute you people say they take all of your jobs (even those of you who don't work and have never worked a day in your life) and next breath they don't work at all.

Most don't even care if they do work. You just don't like black and brown faces. You're not bothered about the white immigrants.

I probably didn’t word it very well but the point I was trying to get across was that it is easy for us to talk about what is happening but they are just being dismissed as far right when they could just be hard working people who are upset.
But I’m a hard working person, and I work a normal job. Those people have as much access to social media to discuss this online as I do, so it’s crap that they can’t discuss this like we do. it’s a choice to riot. It’s a choice to do any of their actions, let’s not pull it on them being hard working people who just feel let down.

Over 90% of immigration is legal.
How do you know this? Similarly with someone previously saying the majority of immigrants to the UK work hard and put back into the system. Do we really have a true overview of the situation when last year there was something like 17,000 who went missing and the Home Office had no idea where they were. You also have the poor souls who are trafficked here for work or sex, they aren’t going to be accounted for.

I’m not dismissing criminality and I probably don’t put my posts across eloquently enough. There were many on that protest who aren’t criminals.
No, they WEREN’T criminals. If they were involved in anything involving racism punching that fella, burning buildings, destroying property then they are. Protesting doesn’t stop criminal activity being a crime.

What am I wrong about?
That black people are a disgrace for having an opinion on immigration, whites want to ship non whites off in boats , if your victim complex is strong that’s on you why would you push it on others that don’t feel as you 🤷🏼‍♀️

the help will still be available just not in that particular building.
The point is that just like the police service, people say that they kick off because of a lack of services because of cuts, and blame the immigration system. So destroying even more resources doesn’t help. It’s all well and good saying ‘but it will be available, just not there’ it either means resources people would use have been destryed such as computers etc, or people who actually need the help have to travel. It’s not just a shrug and it will be sorted scenario. And that place will probably be deemed too expensive to rebuild because no one is going to it…… think about it from the eyes of a council for a change, not just im alright jack

What did YOU think of them?

If your point is anyone who agreed with the George Floyd protests but disagrees with these ones are hypocrites, then surely you agree with both the George Floyd and these ones?

Anyone who disagreed with the George Floyd protests but understands these ones are equally hypocritical, no?
I don’t agree with either but can understand why both groups felt it was a legitimate option but I didn’t agree with it. I just fiend it bizarre that those who were the most ‘anti cop’ a couple of years ago are now full time super cop fans when it is against those they disagree with

Yes I think there's a problem with a black person who agrees with the far right regarding immigration.
Yes I do believe that racist white people would love to ship non white people back to where they came from even when they are born here. Note not all white people but those who are 'protesting ' like the video I just saw of an Asian (likely born in uk) getting punched in the face just for walking down the street with the audacity of being Asian.

How can you talk about victim complex when you don't know my ethnicity. Are you black btw?

The immigrants I'm talking about certainly aren't taking any jobs. They don't work and never will. Bone idiot scroungers that's what they are.

An absolute bleeping disgrace. None of us can continue on with our lives while these racist bleeps riot. I’d suggest saving the kids of these people from them, they need better role models in life than low lives who take the streets in the name of claiming back a country that hasn’t been taken from them

Who said she was agreeing with far right? Shouldn’t she have a say on things that affect her and her family as a British citizen because she happens to be non white 🙄 there’s racism in every country it doesn’t mean everyone is of the same opinion. Could post many videos of white people being attacked for simply being white but I’m smart enough to know it’s a minority would do that.

Mosques when the killer wasn't even Muslim.
This is what’s truly amusing (and I mean that in the bad sense) with this whole situation

The people and communities being targeted aren’t in any way connected to the murderer but you still have people banging on about immigration and asylum seekers and trying to excuse these riots as if they’re not connected to racism and xenophobia based on wrong assumptions

Had this been a white man we would be having very different conversations
