Why are most of the ‘protestors’ bald and large with tit tattoos?

People have done evil things since forever but I do think that social media now is making it worse. I watched the Andrew Tate sky documentary the other night. It is so scary how much social media influences everyone. So much false information being accessed by people and being easily manipulated

And regardless of anything else, what truly frightens me is a breakdown of law and order, which we all depend on to some degree, to keep us safe. It is happening all over the world, but I never thought I’d see it here, and it almost feels a bit dystopian, like we are on the edge of something 😬😪
This last week I have felt very “off” and like something is seriously happening and bubbling up in the background. Haven’t witnessed it on Tattle because probably membership is locked but other forums I’m on, I’m astonished by not only the posts that new members are posting, but the amount of replies they are getting in response from established posters, when it’s obvious to me (IMO) they are bots/using AI for posts because the language isn’t clear or doesn’t make sense or read properly that it was written by a real person. And I want to scream every time that replying to these posts is feeding it more information which it will use to spread misinformation.

Not in relation to this particular story, but a number of big news stories this week across multiple other forums. I’m starting to consciously back away from news sources online. Not because mainstream media is better - it’s not - but the claim that Internet news is more real is laughable when it comes to the Wild West nature of the internet that official TV channels and newspapers can’t get away with legally.

What kind of sad asshat do you have to be to travel to a far away town to lob bricks at other people and set cars on fire? Not to mention that it's 'protesting' killings by attacking everyone but the killer, and Mosques when the killer wasn't even Muslim.
A kind of sad asshat who has an entitlement problem and poor emotional regulation. All this anger would be more understandable if the 'protestors' didn't look like they have a privilege and entitlement problem, their incandescent anger at 'not being listened to' is the biggest joke. They have one of the loudest voices and hold more power than any other demographic cohort in the country. If you can afford to travel round the country, buying flares, fireworks and booze, have a phone to access your Telegraph groups to coordinate and mobilise you are privileged. If you can have enough front to challenge the police with bricks, poles and fire extinguishers you have privilege. If you feel comfortable enough to write/record your racism on social media platforms knowing you'll face no consequences, you are privileged.

This cohort are the safest, most unlikely to face risk than any other demographic in this country. People shake their heads at them because they seem like big babies who just want their own way and their own way is doing and saying what they want, when they want and to who they want and nobody should stand in their way. If they perceive a 'threat' then they are entitled to get angry and hurt people? No thanks. That's not understandable to anyone who is a grown up.

I'm sorry but this is ridiculous and stinks of thought policing. I do not agree with the riots but this teacher seems to be at a peaceful protest and is doing no harm just expressing his views, which may be more nuanced than you think.
The point is, you sign up not to bring the profession into disrepute and sometimes that means expressing your views privately, not going on in public about being robbed off taxes and streets being taken away. No streets are being taken away. And all it takes is for them to be seen by a parent and bang. Career gone.
and if people kick off and they are arrested and charged even for being just caught up, that shows on a dbs. It’s about usin lg your brain at times, hold a view however nuanced but givne what’s been shared over the past few days, I think they know this protest won’t end peacefully…..

I’ve said since Covid that it feels like something is about to blow at some stage. There’s little blocs in Europe and Arabic nations kicking off, there’s an economic crisis hitting up and down the world, we’ve had covid. I just hope things going like this now settle it down.

Not on the amount we give to illegal immigrants they don’t!

The statistics I speak of are freely available online but I don’t want to distract from the purpose of the thread anymore than I already have 🫣
I mean immigrants do send back money to families, even small amounts. Not all but to say none do is not true. As for your statement that 90% of immigration to the UK is legal I can’t find anywhere that mentions this number. Could you link me please?

Similar to those British “expats” that often go work in another country to have a better life/financial stability for their families back home no?
I agree, I was just debating the poster’s claim that all the money goes back into circulation here when it doesn’t.

I wish all these men who have attended the rallies actually cared about violence against women and girls. It would go a long way to helping stop the misogyny that has infected our lives.

And the sad thing is, imagine how many of them men there are going to get drunk and go home and smack their partner around because they’ve got a rush off going out and causing murder. It’s scary

i understand that the guy with the brick to the balls has been arrested because the police were responding to a DV incident at his house and recognised him from the video 😡😡😡

They've only ever pretended to care about women and girls when it gives them an excuse to beat up / kill people of a different ethnicity. If 'helping' to stop misogyny relies on violence towards others, it's absolutely useless.

So we need to determine the difference between legal immigrants and illegal immigrants. Legal immigrants come to the country via legal channels on a skilled worker visa or a study visa, and if working, pay the usual tax and NI the same as anyone else whilst they are here.

illegal immigrants arrive in the country either by usual channels or via small boats, making a claim for asylum pretty sharpish afterwards. An illegal immigrant claiming asylum or refugee status, will be housed and will be given £37.75 per week to feed and clothe themselves. They have no other recourse to public funds during this time. So no, they are not sending money home. The legal immigrants may well be, but it is their own money which they have earned.

In 2022 the foreign born population in the UK was estimated to be 14%. Net migration figures at Dec 2023 was around 685,000, taking into account over 500,000 people who had returned home either because their study or work visa had expired or because they were an ex pat.

A couple of links for you:

White supremacist riots. Luckily so far it seems they’re getting outnumbered in other cities. Noticing the guy fighting with the police officer telling him to get back is holding a plastic pint cup, it’s just one massive violent piss up for these people

But they're just working class people who are really really concerned x

Catching covid was the point personally for me where I felt like I’d “changed”. I know it’s only anecdotal but I haven’t felt like the same person I always was since I caught covid and that was about 2-3 years ago and have felt that way since then.

I do often wonder whether it was all done on purpose. Because many people have expressed similar about themselves, and also about the ramped up aggression and nature of society since covid and its repercussions, lockdown etc.
