Police have been granted more time to question him. No charges as of yet, are they waiting for mental health assessments to be made?
I’d imagine they are just making sure that they have a water tight case before charging him so there’s no duck ups!
why didn’t the police go in with batons, dogs etc in leeds? They stood back and let it happen bus and car burnt out but they were a soft touch and did nothing . In fact they ran away …

It’s not that easy just to run in with batons etc. It’s about what resources are available at the time etc. Not all officers are riot trained so will not have the proper gear.

I know they won’t be getting that much per week but locally to me I know of one hotel where multiple people had their weddings cancelled on them because the hotel decided that it would be more lucrative and also a really nice boutique place which also suddenly wasn’t taking bookings when I phoned them months ago to try to book and I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t have bookings but they said they had a “group booking”. Regardless of what your views are on immigrants there are hotel owners making a bleeping fortune out of it.
this all just reminds me of the 'justice for ellie' movement that happened in my hometown, everyone jumped on board bashing and attacking the Muslims in the town, Tommy Robinson even made an appearance, when it all came out it was not true, wow how quiet they all were I guess now they have all jumped to this get their racism out!

I had to give up with this. My brain was crying at this. In a serious note, this is why social media is so dangerous. Anyone can see and read anything without being able to comprehend other facts and critically thinking about if it’s true. People who are so vulnerable to being exploited by the likes of ‘our Tommy’ who see no consequences of what they do and say.
It saddens me so much though, that a mosque who has nothing to do with the area that this killer was raised in, was trashed because people said that this was where this person came from.
And despite these idiots saying this is about kids, the children hurt and killed yesterday will be forgotten about within all this mess.
I feel quite ashamed at the amount of people I know who appear to be lauding Tommy Robinson as some sort of hero.

It’s an excuse. TR’s been waiting for something like this after his arrest last week for breaking libel laws ongst other things. And they will be using what happened in Manchester as a way of saying to naive people ‘see they treated them this way and you like this’. I say they because there’s more at this then just stupid Steven. People will be doing his dirty work left right and centre.
