I had to find a Tattle thread for this Sophie Murray chick after she randomly came up on my Insta feed. My initial thoughts are: - who are you and why do you think you're such a style maven? - the hair, the clothes and facial fillers scream "huge frump", someone give this girl a makeover - what's with the incessant pics of her pouring over her gross-looking bloke. Can't stand when influencers obsessively post coupley pics. Alright we get it, you've got a boyfriend.

What does she do for work
She used to be a receptionist at one of the big accounting firms and also worked on the Charlotte Tilbury counter in BT. She left her full time role during the pandemic to pursue influencing full time.

I used to love Sophie she came across so organic, ‘normal’ and genuine but over the past year she’s just become another irrelevant and unrelatable influencer flaunting her serious over consumption and ‘perfect’ relationship. Nothing is perfect and usually is far from it when showing it off so much. It’s a shame really. So over social media and this influenza! I hope it dies out soon I think people are slowly over it
I agree - she has become unrelatable. She’s been on vacation non-stop since January. Her lifestyle is beyond unrealistic. Most of her trips have been sponsored, but my issue is the fact she’s not even promoting brand products properly during those trips (half the time, we don’t know which brand the trip is with) and doesn’t even really bother to show a bit of the landscapes of the various places she visits.
It seems she’s just vacationing through life. I’m not even sure if she’s a beauty or fashion influencer or what she is exactly. We know all these trips are sponsored, not way she’d be able to afford this lifestyle with what seems to be one collaboration per month if that.

LOVED Sophie back in the day (covid times) just normal girl answering questions /dilemmas from her followers while sitting on her bed. Ireland needs a lot more real life influencers that have real jobs, kids or run their own business. I see among my own friend group people starting to follow smaller influencers. Personal opinion…. I’m not following anyone that promotes vooodooz or bperfecet.. don’t know about the rest of ye
