Ah ok, I must’ve missed the context of the word. I hate to say “it’s interesting” because this is a very serious topic, but.. it is interesting (/horrific), because in this case the behaviour of loaf (as far as we can ascertain) has simply been so far removed from the morality that we expect of people. I am pro choice, and yet my pro choiceness didn’t account for narcisstic rage at 23 weeks.. the fact is, well and rational women don’t just terminate a viable pregnancy at 23 weeks in a fit of rage.
I am pro choice except in terminating a perfectly healthy baby at that gestation. Many women have terminations for varying reasons but they do it when they find out, in the first tri, not over half way through the pregnancy as a revengful temper tantrum -
- If that is the case here which I can not say it is because I wasn't there. But all the signs point that way.

It def happens and is generally due to the mother's health (mental &/or physical) at the point of birth. Given the state we know Sophie had gotten herself to, I think it's not a long shot to suggest they felt she was not capable of a vaginally birth.
I’m not sure if it varies from country to country, but based on her gestation I believe it was still possible for Sophie to have had a surgical termination under general anaesthetic via
via D&E where they remove the pregnancy with forceps whilst asleep?
so you’re not expected to vaginally birth via pushing anyway as you are sedated or put under.

I believe in the UK that procedure is commonly used between 14 weeks and 23.6 weeks.

At what gestation was little Pixie born?

On a different note, I'm a bit shocked & more than a little disappointed that Nath is allowing her so much time with the kids. He really needs to stand a lot more firm on this - protecting those girls is much more important than indulging Sophie's whims. And it is a whim, as soon as the new fool comes along, the girls will be ditched again.

No one will know what actually happened aside from the medical team, but my extremely reliable source has told me that they without a doubt believe Loaf had a MT.
and that Pixie was being handed around the room for those who visited. No doubt all of Loaf’s “friends”that commented on her post when she replied “thanks for visiting me”

I found it on a website called 'O&G Magazine' the title of the article is 'F_____ and late termination of pregnancy' also upon reading that article, it doesn't seem like a c section is ever performed for a termination of any sort so do we think she even had a C section if that was the path she chose? Any medical people on here know if that's ever the case?
I don’t actually know what I believe in regards to the c section.
In my personal experience, after I had my first baby via c section, I was told I would have to always have cesareans as I’m not built quite right for birthing babies, so when I fell pregnant the second time, I asked my OB what would happen if I miscarried, and she said after 20 weeks I’d still have an emergency c section.
BUT! BUT!
I have now had 2 cesareans, both of which I recovered from very quickly and easily, and as easy as it was, there is NO WAY I would be laying on a bed with my young children’s legs kicking all around 🤢 or swimming or any kind of submerging in water! Even the way she was sitting with her laptop with her legs bent up, I couldn’t imagine doing that for any length of time at 3 weeks post op.

Undoubtedly. 200% positive of that - there's no chance this was anything but a selective termination. Anyone who believes otherwise is just one of those slightly naive, happy little vegemites who really likes to believe the best in people.

You’d think if there was something medically wrong with Pixie she would just come out and say it. Raise awareness.
also seems all the photos of Pixie, apart from the tiny fingers with Sophie’s hands, have been scrubbed from the internet (in google search any way - there’s always tattle though) Sophie crying still appears though.
It is still on google and facebook. Not from Sophie though but one of those weird news sites that copy stories

Agree it's more palatable. I don't think this word came up as what we were referring it to, the original poster of it was just saying that after 23 or 24 weeks, it had another technical name in medicine.
Nothing about this situation is all that palatable really. I'm pro choice, but this dangles precariously close to falling on the side of the fence where I might draw a line if I'm being honest.

Both of these comments sum up exactly how I feel too.
I’m pro choice and believe every woman should have the right to decide whether they want children or not but this one just doesn’t sit right with me.
Maybe I’m pro choice for legit reasons (baby not compatible with life, abusive relationship, grape, birth control failed as examples) but not for trying to get back at someone as it seems in this case.

It feels really off to me to be discussing that she could have had a MT but everything keeps pointing that way ….
It especially just keeps standing out to me that she won’t refer to her loss directly when talking about her healing. It’s never “3 weeks since we lost Pixie”. It’s just not sitting right and I can’t shake it.

😱
This is horrific if it’s true.
I have held a baby that was lost prematurely around the same gestation as Pixie. This was a friends baby and I watched her birth the baby and it was so sad. So confronting for me as a mother. So tiny. I can’t imagine this if it was a MT.

Ok but what I’m now dying to know is did they all know or did she try to pull the wool over their eyes? It just sounds sick and twisted for them all to come to loafs bedside to hold and grieve a baby that was deliberately terminated !?

Same, one of my best friends had to have an MT at 24 weeks because of massive errors made by her medical team. The trauma and sadness was beyond comprehension.

It’s awful. The hospital wouldn’t intervene when my friend went into early labour due to the gestation. I sat by her side and held her hand with her husband on the other side as she birthed a baby that would never be able to draw breath once born. It’s been 7 years and I still can’t get that sweet little face out of my head. The photos I saw of Pixie made me howl remembering the trauma. If I felt that much trauma from it I can’t fathom how my friends still feel.

Sorry to shift the subject and I’m sorry if it has been discussed. I haven’t gone back through all the threads!

Do we know if she actually DID buy this $2500 (🤯) blanket? Or did she just SAY she was buying baby things but had full intentions of not seeing the pregnancy through?
I think she was waiting on all the free stuff to come in and that’s why she hadn’t really bought anything

Absolutely devastating

Todays stories: If she's in pain and the belly band is saving her should she really be doing 11k+ steps another stage of recovery?

Didn't she say yesterday that she was using exercise as a form of escapism and that she wanted to be in the moment?

The F word: I'm pro life so my views are probably more extreme to most here. I see abortion as killing a baby, sure there may be something wrong with the baby and that's why a woman makes the choice but the outcome is still a dead baby.
I've nurse babies incompatible with life/ any quality of life through palliation. It's a pretty sacred process I guess, bleeping hard and so bleeping sad but I always took solace in the baby at least getting a chance to see the world. To meet their parents. We try to make it special. To honor that life.

For those who say it's better Pixie wasn't born because of what she would have been born into.. I guess I don't believe that. There are plenty of women I'm this forum who have suffered life long narcissistic abuse but they haven't killed them selves. Their life is obviously still worth something despite their upbringing. Or if Pixie would have been such a burden why was adoption to a loving family not an option?

Again going back to what transpired in the delivery room. If it's the f word then Sophie has implicated other medical workers in such a sick deed. I understand most are pro choice and will side with the mother regardless. But I don't know how my conscience would reconcile with that one. It was hard enough to battle my conscience when babies were going through palliation for legitimate reasons signed off by a bioethics board. But this just seems something else.

I have no doubt the truth will come out somehow oneday. The nurses in the room are likely to need to heavily debrief about the events she has implicated them in. Whether that be in the tea room or out in public for their post night shift breakfast, nurses talk to get the tit out and off of their mind- just usually amongst themselves.

Also I can't imagine how ducked up it would have been for the medical staff to be recieving flowers and gifts from her following after they had nursed Sophie and Pixie through what we suspect.

Passing around baby Pixie to everyone in the room hurts my heart. I can't imagine letting my baby go in such a circumstance 😔
Pixie would have been held by influencer strangers. But not her own father or sisters.

snap these are my thoughts too - the frolicking at the beach and the pic with the laptop and B1 B2 hanging out!

Wow a lot of word vomit today.. First off she's not looking gaunt at all. She wishes she did, but she's just been pregnant so it will take a while to get her weight back down.
The skin care clip was hilarious. Suddenly she cares about what goes in her skin and her body and that's in alignment with who she is 🥴
A total word salad. She never once mentioned how skincare products can effect your unborn baby (especially boys with estrogenic products).
Why does she blink so much? 😳

I see this list and it reminds me of old Sophie. But then I remember she's a total fake.
Sure she wants to be a minimalist again now but that included deleting her own baby 😔

For the midwives who have been involved in MT. How does that stay with you? I still keep picturing a team of doctors and nurses extracting a dead baby that was killed by its mother on purpose. It's such an unsettling thought.
I can’t stop thinking about how a MT takes place for a healthy baby. I don’t want to google as I don’t think I could stomach it, but I find myself thinking about it often.
Im a palliative care nurse. I’ve seen a lot of palliative newborns. I can remember every single one. Guaranteed Pixies face will stay with the nurses and drs for the rest of their lives.
Im also certain any nurses who didn’t want to be a part of it wouldn’t have been forced to.
When we get complex, extremely difficult/traumatic cases we are told it is ok to “tap out”
