Obviously I don't know what happened, but I would wager it was because Kacie didn't understand something either when booking or what they told her. So now she's telling people (over a million )to go elsewhere, despite everything else being great?

My assumption would be they didn't want to give her a discount. Without specifying the problem I think it is totally unfair to make these kind of statements, also a grown adult crying outside a restaurant

I noticed Kacie's fans are leaving comments under Pinchiorri's IG and they keep deleting them as more pop up.
I'm betting on her being comped a meal ro something. She is awful and i assume knew her fans would do that tbh, what have they been saying?
Any influencer, celebrity, etc. who posts something like this knows what they’re doing. I wish that one of these places would sue them for harassment, because thats exactly what this is. Kacie knows that her followers, who don’t even know what actually happened, are going to leave a lot of nasty comments and view that as some sort of punishment for the restaurant.

She just posted this, 12 hours later, and it was all about how she wanted them to put a candle in his dessert for his birthday, and I’m guessing they wanted to charge extra. Or they mentioned to pay the 25 euros for a birthday cake.

I can't believe it's about the cake. I assume she paid over €600 in wine since each tasting menu is "only" €310. Not sure how it ended up €1400.

Inwonder how many of her fans (most of whom seem never to have left the us) were planning on visiting that place Kacie and her constant "in every Michelin star restaurant I've been to.." yet she didn't know what miso was? As far as I was aware most Mixhelin star restaurants actually run on much lower profit margins than other places so I'm not surprised they offer other paid services. Also comparing a fancy restaurant not putting a candle in your dessert when a tgi in the us where staff are dependant on tips so will literally do anything to get them is hardly the same is it? I'm not even half way through this explanation and I'm already embarrassed. I wonder how her partner feels about it all (her witching not the "incident " itself. And the double checking about allergies is pretty common, if you submit a form a month ago you could have developed one in the mean time, restaurants are usually so careful about this now

Sorry for the rant, I'd be annoyed with my partner for not intervening if a waiter was shouting st me? Especially as he works in hospitality so knows how to manage such situations, not to mention is a native speaker. I wonder if she was speaking in English or Italian? To me either way her comments sounded veryyy passive aggressive and would have made me angry

I’ve been wondering that about Dario for awhile. Me too. Supposedly he intevened "in the end." Lol. TBH, and it's just my impression from the few times I've seen him in her stories and his lack of guidance with things, he doesn't seem very bright.

I imaginne the situation with him either not paying any attention or mortifed at the embarassing American-ness of it (reminiscent of the 'customer is always right' steak scene in Emily in Paris) enjoying his dessert until he couldn't ignore the background noise any more
I mean they were there, she said they enjoyed their meal etc. It was a €1400 bill and she brings up the candle? I mean, yeah, I'm sure it was weird seeing the others being celebrated, but she said she "expected" the candle since she didn't buy the cake. Just enjoy the experience, no? Have Dario clap and blow out candles at home. It's a weird hill to die on.
I can understand how it was frustrating but she shouldn’t have made a huge post and called them out like that on her Instagram page, that’s was Google reviews is for lol.
