It's crazy how pretty much all influencers living abroad are setting up these travel things with them. It's such a weird dynamic imo, people who have basically been following your life and feel like they know you who, to you, are just total strangers paying to spend time with you

Agree, it is pretty much paying to spend time with them.

And I know I am a stickler for rules lol, but it annoys me because it's a way around being a tour "guide." A licensed guide position is almost impossible to obtain. (I'm not sure if Emilio is. Do you know @moronglace ?) But these companies create these "host" positions or whatever. I know there are actual guides on Kacie's tours, but let's be honest-- the people go for her and listen to her.

I was thinking the same thing. It looks like if you took a newly renovated American place and put it in Italy.

First off, “rubs me off the wrong way” is so funny. I don’t know what the commenter is trying to say about immigration in the U.S., that’s maybe a step too far.

I do agree, however, that Sofie’s renovation for the most part is far too beige and boring for my taste. I would also have removed the wall closing off the living room from the kitchen, but the wood doors and marble floors are so beautiful and unique. Sure the building shows its age from the 60s, but these details make you really feel like you’re in Italy. The bathrooms I do like, though. I hate the little tiles in the shower that were there before, it feels like those would be such a pain to clean (as little grout as possible makes it feel more hygienic to me, idk). I also really don’t like the little cabin-style showers in Italy, it feels claustrophobic to me.

Overall it’s a nice house and I would be happy to live there compared to where I’m at, but if I were spending money to renovate in Italy I’d put a lot more color, texture and interest into it. Not just boring minimalist fixtures

Meant to add, she really stressed parenting ALONE, didn't she? Lol. I don't know if she lives in la la land or if she and Emilio didn't communicate about his job vs being an available parent, but she's obviously bitter. She's griped about going at it alone multiple times.

No problem! Since MFW just started I assumed it was new and was completely bewildered. I would assume she misses some of these invites and parties connected to SR.

Yeah, I heard that and thought of this thread. How did that happen if she "never leaves the house?" Aside from every meet up, pilates sesh and beauty treatment she's gone to do since being granted medical leave as a high risk pregnancy...lol

Today is Kacie 's "huge announcement." I can't imagine what it could be, but am throwing out maybe an actual book (opposed to her self published e-books).

Oh, and I saw her ad post about Wild deodorant last week, as well as the latest. They've been with Kacie and Danae for a year, maybe 2 now. I found this and thought it was interesting. How anyone at this point could think any brand promoted is 100% random is beyond me.

Petty but it annoys me so much when Americans complain about visa issues, most of the world are unable to just travel/live elsewhere because of visa restrictions, it is hardly easy to get a green card for example is it? I always strikes me as so entitled

Hard to say, I haven't seen enough of her stuff. She seemed pretty chill with dropping her job to become a SAHM, but whether she thinks that's the "right way" I can't say.

I noticed in the description of her latest vlog she wrote Sunday Riley products were gifted and not an "ad." But ...she works for them. Im not sure how it can't be promotional.

Also, just an aside, I see she hangs out with Kacie Rose, somebody I absolutely cannot stand. (Seems like a nice person, but very ignorant, wrong about so much, no grasp on the language, very stereotypically American and I'm not sure why she's still in Italy etc) so I obviously dislike her inclusion in IG stories lol.

I think people are just becoming bored of her content, just endless holidays, especially at the moment when most people are financially struggling. I also think her complaining people weren't watching her content turned even more people off, no one owes anyone youtube views. I unsubscribed to someone else recently for doing the same

I saw that @emm lol. Mainly because she tends to put up a "stop the negativity!" type of posts when people criticize her. I'm American, but I found her song use "I'm comin' home" in one of the stories/reels from there so cringey and gave me the sense she's "that" type of American. Also, she's what? 30 or close to it? Her crappy diet will catch up with her one day. I just don't understand living in Italy, yet preferring all the sugar, fat , chemicals and nitrates in American junk. She wears Ranch Dressing as some badge of honor.

Totally agree, I am British and live in the UK but her obsession with US junk food is I I wonder how Dario views the fact she doesn't view Italy as home? Especially as NY wasn't really her home (in the family sense)
