Sunday Riley’s gotten in trouble before because their employees were urged by the owner to write fake five star reviews for their products. Maybe something similar is going on behind the scenes.Weird that she's done this twice (I mean removing them) bizarre, I think even from a brand strategy it xoesnt make sense to have someone promoting it whose account is also so personal (also presumably will be a legal issue at some point for the lack of disclosure or ads)
Other candace Owen fans? Can't think why otherwiseShe's picked up several hundred new followers in the past few days after a pretty steady decline for months. I wonder where they came from?
Yeh if you're paying a tour guide or something surelynthe point is for them to show you things you might not find otherwise? Kacie always just seems to go to things you see all over social media alreadyGiven Kacie’s recent announcement about her Amalfi Coast tour, it’s kinda obvious that Sofie must be planning to get involved.
Again I must say: Amalfi Coast? As a tour destination?
Groundbreaking.
Those bags are hideous, she probably wants to use ad to make it clear she wouldn't have chosen itI know! Lol. I wonder how long the contract is for? I wonder why MZ Wallace chose her? At least she put AD this time.![]()
Yeah, I remember some time during 2020 she was probably scraping the barrel for what to post so she did a few things about Instagram vs. reality à la Danae and denouncing the use of beauty filters on social media. I've experienced a pretty noticeable weight gain over the last few years (while already not in a straight-size body) due to lockdown, hormonal birth control, and SSRIs, etc. so if a conventionally skinny person talks about this I take it with a grain of salt. It's sad that even someone as slim as Sofie should feel this way.Sofie has a new vlog. Another "day in my life" deal which she tagged as a paid promotion. I understand anyone can have body hang-ups. We all see and scrutinize our own perceived flaws more than anyone else does. Nonetheless, it's hard to relate to Sofie lamenting her own appearance when she has a body Victoria's Secret models could envy. I remember she stopped doing the Danae Mercer "me, bloated" type of posts a while back because nobody could really relate lol.
I always marvel at how much influencers must have confidence to share themselves online, I think you have to be a certain kind of personality to be able to broadcast your image, your thoughts, and your life for the world to see.I haven't watched but this seems awful. I also hated her going on about being insecure about facial hair. I get that childhood bullying affects you but if, in your mid 30s, you are still stressing about this it is a bit sad...
I think that is still his job (got it back) since he's away for work for weeks at a time like when they were in Rome.LinkedIn says he is “presently” a tour manager for EF Tours (which he did before they left Rome). Either he got that job back or just never changed his LinkedIn. Before that he was a sommelier and a tax lawyer.
I think it's about Thea from "Doing Italy." She's so fake AF and always makes things seem so easy and magical. Kacie has promoted her about "moving to Italy" bc it's not her expertise. As dumb as KR is she never mentions how to move or taxes.Has Kacie mentioned taxes before? She said in a recent video that her business is US-based and was thinking this might be about her. Or is this maybe about Shayna Terese Taylor?
Yes, she said she was going to be staying in Sicily for three months.@moronglace didn't Zoey say she was going to Sicily? I am guessing Sofie is too.
Yeh I am always surprised at them going on about how insecure they are etc yet deciding to broadcast your life online I don't get how that makes sense, especially with channels that are basically just lifestyle and showing day to day lifeYeah, I remember some time during 2020 she was probably scraping the barrel for what to post so she did a few things about Instagram vs. reality à la Danae and denouncing the use of beauty filters on social media. Even her friend Zoey (who has adopted some very ED-adjacent habits over the last years like the lemonade cleanse) is posting content where she's massively sucking in her stomach and sharing a "thinspo"-style picture on her "vision board".
These ladies need to assess why they feel this way about their bodies instead of diving headfirst into diet and supplement trends. Good for Sofie for wanting to drink more water, but (sadly, as always) there is a downside to "too much of a good thing".
There's been a lot of discourse online about the whole "Watertok" trend - basically a new kind of influencer sharing "recipes" for beverages consisting of water, sugar-free flavored syrups and sometimes packets of powdered water enhancer packets.
The watertok stuff teeters on the verge of ED territory, because often people who struggle with disordered eating will try and consume copious amounts of water to create a satiated feeling without actually consuming calories (watertok recipes, like Crystal Light, are touted as being low-carb, low-sugar).
Remember the case of Terri Schiavo? I was so young when her name was all over the news, it wasn't until just a few weeks ago that her name creeped back into my brain and I wanted to know why she went into a vegetative state. It turns out she suffered cardiac arrest because she had low potassium levels caused by drinking too much water, which she was doing to try and lose weight!
(I'm definitely not saying Sofie is promoting ED behavior, just throwing it out there that there are downsides to drinking too much water and influencers should be mindful of these things)

Her self consciousness about having dark facial and body hair, if that's the biggest flaw she sees in her appearance, is a lot easier to deal with compared to people who have poor body image due to things like birth defects, genetic disorders, etc...
