I love hearing stuff like this about influencers, tbh. I heard that Coral Sisk of Curious Appetite (lives part time in Florence last time I followed her) was a crazy witch, too.

Yes! I have heard the same. I was just moving out of Florence when Coral was getting recognition. @emm might find this funny, but I asked friends if Coral was British or Aussie as I assumed, given her spelling and some slang. But no, she's American who tried/tries appealing to a broader audience. Lol.

@moronglace some other tea that goes back a bit. Nardia of Lost in Florence (who's been pretty mute for a few years) would definitely steal other people's ideas and swoop in on contacts and try to bag them first. She also had an issue with booze that I saw first hand. 👀👀👀

I'm curious as to what happened. But I can't stand the word "bully" thrown around. Also I think there's a difference between trying to at least assimilate and losing your identity.

Neither. I'm also so intrigued ad to what happened between her criticising her job in that live, getting rid of the brand from her IG and then putting it back again...

@emm I'm also curious re: SR. Also bc she posted her work with them at Rinascente, which she had stopped doing. I wonder if they were having a job title+responsibilities quibble.

I remember once she posted about a tomatoes pasta sauce her partner makes that is amazing " I'm going to try and make it" it was literally just chopped up tomatoes cooked and she was acting as if she was making some kind of Masterchef meal

Sorry again to derail this thread (maybe this just needs to be annoying italian/American influencers) but the latest pasinis youtube is so awkward to watch. I had never seen any of their youtube before but I can literally imagine that their conversations in restaurants etc are just silent. It's so.weird. they have no chemistry

I haven't seen them pop up in a while, but they always seemed like a cheap copy of Carlo and Sarah to me lol. Except he's not as simpatico as Carlo lol. I hope these types of channels/content die out!

Since there are only a few of us here , I think it's ok if we post "general annoying It-American/ influencers in Italy" or similar. 😅

Exactly lol. YouTube has been neglected, especially of late. I really did use to like the Caffè Con chats with her nipoti though!

Wait, Kacie's hair fell/broke off from being damaged? I thought she got a haircut like others assumed, I guess. Lol. (She mentioned in her recent stories). Wow. But all I remember is her promoting Wave salon and always filming her highlight appts. Big huge yikes!
