I'm quite surprised to hear this as I've seen her being rude to people who replied to her story posts with questions about plastic waste, and on one of the Bad People podcasts she mithers on for ages about how she finds environment talk boring. (That's OK then, if it bores you, special Sofie, you are absolved of all responsibility to make ethical decisions. Better that the planet is destroyed than you spend one moment being bored 🙄)

Maybe now she is more established she doesn't think she needs to pretend to care.
Yes, this was 2015/2016. I didn't really see much of Sofie after she left GF because I never really liked her attitude when she was on it so didn't really bother with her new projects. So maybe she's been like this a lot in recent years, it's just a stark contrast to how she started out!

She really seems to double down, I don’t think they have much self awareness when it comes to things like that

For a one bed flat anywhere you’re looking at double that now 😬 not including bills! Thank god for Patreon, it keeps half of Twitter in accommodation
Haha I thought so too, I definitely pay a lot more than that for my flat with my boyfriend. But I guess she's right about it not being a nice area because the prices are that low on Rightmove

She’s buying him a dog pool now.

No Sofie. Stop throwing stuff at him. He doesn’t care. Just walk your frickin dog!
I haven’t been keeping up with stories lately, is Sofie genuinely not taking him out for proper daily walks? Or still just letting him out for a bit in the garden type as a substitute for actual walks?

I mean I kind of admire her honesty but sheeesh that was an awkward read. I really do have a problem with her conflating fatness with disability.
Totally agree with both your points, I don’t know if it’s her writing style that drives me round the bend.

Sorry to go in and for the awfully adapted screenshot but cringing at this pinned tweet. She had £15k sat in the company account end of last calendar year which I appreciate isn’t Elton John money but surely enough to form some sort of emergency fund for the high needs specialist breed you’ve got?!

Hahahaha - I think it came about when she was painting her shed sat in a deckchair?
it was from when she was doing the side part and was kind of wedged in wasn't it? How anyone can watch her content and not just find it depressing I do not know

Sofie has been storying but hasn't mentioned the Tweet. Presumably this means that the Tweet will be deleted and Sofie will act like it just never happened? 🤷

It's rather annoying, as Sofie's tweet seems to have triggered such backlash from right-wing, fatphobic misogynists on Reddit and other forums. 😞
Yeah I thought it was a lame tweet but people are just being assholes.

But back in March/April she started going on about how she was worried about money because of Lockdown (not the only one!), started her Patreon her (non-funny comedy shows) then she moved flat and bought so much new stuff (and some of it is pretty expensive!), painted with expensive paint, etc.
Yes!!!

I've been thinking about this so much and wondering how she's able to afford so much when it's such a tough time for comedians (who no clear end in sight). Actually have a MoPod another go today because Catherine Bohart was a guest in one of the episodes and Catherine mentioned a few times how she's struggling to make ends meet.

I use clue on a very basic level (just logging actual days of bleeding) and don't pay for the premium but also perhaps if you use it more thoroughly and have a lot of years worth of data it could be more accurate? I'm not sure if it's that intelligent but maybe if you started to log other symptoms and/or mood it could predict when you are likely to start based on past cycles? Mine doesn't do that as far as I'm aware but perhaps someone who gives it more through data might be able to say?

I think it is weird though if you are doing a comedy show? if you were in a theatre/comedy lub etc the backgrounds are usually just black or plain
Oh god, maybe I've actually misunderstood the Zoom point 😅 Not sure what she meant now hahah

I don’t think they pay but she’s signed up to be an affiliate so if you click and then buy something, she gets a cut. I think the cookie follows you around for 30 days sometimes too. Nice little earner for these people as it will apply to ANYTHING you buy from ASOS or wherever during that time. Correct me if I’m wrong?
😮 Thanks for explaining. I would have had NO IDEA of that from her story post.

Geeeeees Sofie. Women's hour is (as of late) a very forward thinking feminist programme that respectfully handles a whole bunch of modern inequality issues. They are not trying to catch you out just because they don't worship at your feet and present your opinion as fact.
I know, she was acting as if she was going to an interview with the Mail or something

Oh god. I've never used these types of sticky things before but yeah, good point...I bet the residue is a nightmare.

On the Zoom point, I just meant that lots of people like their real life background to look cool (like me haha) rather than using a fake background, which often chops off half of my glasses and just feels a bit weird.

I don't think Sofie ever claims to be healthy, and if they're happy in the body they're in, that's fine. No one owes anyone else health. BUT... I think they should at least be able to maintain a level of fitness that means they can walk Hank and give him the life he deserves (or at least hire a dog walker!!!)
That's very true.
