Most small business have only a handful of employees (sometimes it’s just the founder by themselves) so thats asking a lot isn’t it! And to rush down to the post office/sort courier express delivery. And I think if you’re a small clothes business then presumably you mostly make your products to order, rather than having a few size 30 items just hanging about. Sofie is on another planet.

I never had heard of her until I listened to the Bad People podcast. I started following her on Insta then as a result, haven't checked in on her in months. And also please can we stop referring to any form of social media as 'content'. She doesn't really produce anything on Instagram. Her content is her shows and podcasts, which people can and do pay for. It's very entitled of Sofie to say that everything they post is valuable and deserves compensation.

Sofie spent too much money last month but rather than say ‘I put my hands up, I went too hard on the spending this month - It’s happened and I need to do better next time’ apparently it’s not their fault because of their eating disorder. Incredible that sofie never needs to feel guilt or accountability for ballsing up when nothing is ever your fault.

I’m not saying you should flagellate yourself everytime you make a mistake (we all do! We all occasionally overspend or over indulge when we can’t really justify it) but any self reflection or reasoning into why it happened/how to avoid it just goes straight to why it’s out of their hands and nothing could’ve been done to stop it.

Not even got a dog but seeing the same dog walkers every morning on the nursery run you end up saying hello don’t you! So really you just need to leave the house for a few minutes

I know she has this whole thing about how nothing is 'lazy' and lazy is a capitalist construct meant to oppress us all (lol, sure, I'm sure feudal systems really supported doing duck all) but this is lazy. Like, you're not lying on your phone scrolling because you're having a bad mental health day, you're doing it because you're lazy.

does she think a dog needs one walk a day? I don't get it at all, my parents have a smaller dog than that and she goes out twice a day and not at the end of the day either, dogs really need a walk in the morning

(And I say this as someone who orders takeaways 3 times a week and can't really afford it but knows how tempting it is, hence my coping strategies.)

yeah really, also 3 big takeaways a day, none of those were the equivalent of a bowl of cornflakes or whatever. It really is insane that she is doing this then begging for patreon money

Honestly.. like what would she do if she didn't have followers to beg money from when vet bills come up? Let him suffer? For most people that's a wake up call, and you don't get to spend frivolously because of your 'trauma', you just suck it up and stop buying tit you don't need so you can actually afford to keep your pet.

I think it is a lot more than £30 a day really if you include delivery fee etc
