I think as a race we are on our way out but it will take a long time. We are in an extinction period and the earth will recover but not with us in it.

And you are probably for vaccine passports and showing identification upon entry of places, which would make you a fascist. So go off
Because I decided to give someone more information on what they are considering reading?

I can make a fairly good assessment from your comment then that you're presumptive and lack a lot of critical thinking skills.

I was talking with a (much younger) colleague the other day, she was astonished to realise that "climate change" isn't something that has just recently been discovered. I was reading books written over 30 years ago that talked about it, although different terms were used (greenhouse effect etc). CFC's were first banned in 1976, as scientists realised the damage that they were causing to the atmosphere. This is not new science, and the idea that a closed ecosystem, can continue to sustain increasing numbers of humans, along with their toxic waste, is laughable. This is not an opinion, it's not some hippy-dippy fairy tale, it is proven fact, the only disputes are over the numbers. Humans will die out eventually, we've been here for the blink of an eye in evolutionary terms, the Earth will go on without us, as will (hopefully) some of the flora and fauna.

The "societal collapse"?? I think that some societies are already seeing this in action. Venezuela anyone?

I find it a bit rich that we're told we're being brainwashed by politicians, when scientists have been telling politicians for YEARS that climate change is a real threat, but they didn't want to hear about it or do anything about it.

I've felt since around 2013 or so that it's all very "end of days" and that humanity doesn't have long (in the grand scheme of things) left. It really does feel society as we've always understood it is getting to the point of no return.

The only comfort is maybe without us the planet will heal itself and live on, and better. I am just glad I have no kids to worry about.

Im not a jehovahs witness but when my children were babies i did their study mostly out of boredom.

They mentioned societal collapse during their talks and even though i am still none believer some of what they said does look to be coming true.

They told me that the end of days would be coming when people turned completely against their leaders ( no one of the current leaders of any country seems to be in any favour) people will only be out for themselves( quite obvious looking at the reaction to covid etc) disease, famine and natural diasters would be on the rise. I could go on. But it has made me think that even i dont practice their religion they do make some sense.

Out of interest, when we who believe that man-made climate change is a real thing are told that we should "do our research" / "question authority", what research have the posters themselves done other than read books of other people's research, which helpfully absolve them of blame and the need to change their lifestyle one iota ?

The temperature data since the Industrial Revolution is stark. Even if it weren't, how on Earth is trying to pollute less something that doesn't need to be undertaken ? I'm tired of Facebook idiots thinking that because they've managed to find a few cranks who agree with them that they somehow are into some secret of climate function that the assembled PhDs of the IPCC et al have blithely passed by. I know Einstein was working in a patent office / Post Office when he discovered relativity, but I doubt that Debbie / Dave from accounts / the pub has cracked climate science.

Edit : sorry, forgot, not only reading other people's research, but actively promoting the Unabomber's manifesto. What's next ? A "like" for Mein Kampf as "he's really onto something and you've got to explore all opinions".

Hypothetically speaking, climate change is real, covid and the vaccine were created as part of a depopulation strategy to save the planet.

Once the world has depopulated, what will happen to the survivors? Will we all have really comfortable lives, will we be slaves to our overlords?

Just wondering what peoples opinions are of the powers that be (rich/politicians/powerful) constantly banging on about rising sea temperatures and years of coastal flooding yet think nothing of buying and living in their seaside mansions. Didn't Al Gore buy a load of seafront property on the cheap after his scaremongering which still hasn't happened yet.🤷‍♀️

People need to see with their eyes rather than listen. When the world governments are doing everything they tell you not to do then stop believing the lies they tell you. Remember Actions always speak louder than words

All those people without masks or SD at G7 please don't tell me about testing, all you are doing is making up a narrative to fit to try to make it make sense
Just Biden on his own had 400 entourage.. then you have all the governments and their entourage all the diplomates and their staff the royal family etc All wearing masks and SD for photos all partying and without any SD or masks once the cameras were off.

They fly around the world in private jets while telling you that you must downsize your car eventually get electric (biggest con ever) cars .. Once you have all changed to electric cars they will be telling you that we just cannot power them all and then they will also say about the batteries, we will have rolling power cuts and climate lockdowns .. all in agenda 21/30
No one (except the very rich ) will own a car they will be driverless taxis You will own nothing and be happy because they will control everything, your food will be fake, its why they don't care that the pollinators are dying

Obama's motorcade, all this while telling you that you are ruining the planet. people excuse it, making up reasons on why it's ok for them.

As for the weather look into weather manipulation. You will be amazed at what they could do in my own grandparents day and I'm in my 60s.

I am passingly familiar and thought it was done for innocent purposes only, but oh my goodness 😲 Surely this violated the Geneva Convention:

Operation Popeye (Project Controlled Weather Popeye / Motorpool / Intermediary-Compatriot)was a military cloud-seeding project carried out by the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War in 1967–1972. The highly classified program attempted to extend the monsoon season over specific areas of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, in order to disrupt North Vietnamese military supplies by softening road surfaces and causing landslides.

Not sure in what world the industrial revolution was less than 50 years ago. Who wrote these books you've been reading?
You don't want to know 😂 😂 😂 😂

Do we report people who suggest terrorist manifestos as reading material? 😂
