I really don't think we should be speculating or talking about Lauren on here.
she's obviously got issues and I would hate to think she finds this thread and it triggers something.
yes, she posts this stuff herself but we don't know what frame of mind she is in or if she's thinking rationally.

I do wonder in 10 years time when SW will surely still be around what it will look like, surely by that point they will have had to address some of its flaws like how eating an entire tub of Greek yoghurt and a punnet of strawberries is free but 2 chocolate biscuits will set you back a day’s worth of syns 😂😂

Working for the NHS and seeing the fact a lot regain all their post surgery weight within two years I seriously wouldn’t consider that an option. Sacrificing all life enjoyments and never being able to have anything fizzy again is awful. Don’t consider that route please
I disagree with telling someone not to consider a route. Telling people to stay away from a certain fad diet is one thing, but advising someone to avoid surgery that could improve their health (especially when you don't know their health background) is a different ball game.

Yes there are people who gain back after surgery but it isn't everyone.
Yes there are possible complications and side effects to bariatric surgery. There are to all surgeries. There are also plenty of surgeries where you have a to abstain from certain things after surgery.

People who have bariatric surgery on the NHS have to meet a strict criteria either have a BMI over 60 or a BMI over 40 with an obesity related health condition such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, back/knee problems etc

If someone has a BMI over 60 they are super morbidly obese and likely have over 15 stone to lose.
Losing that amount naturally will be hard, likely take years and the success rate is low. In the time a person takes to try and try again if they don't already have health problems they could develop them in the mean time.

Also if someone already has type 2 diabetes or high blood pressure losing the weight could save their life.

You cite not being able to drink fizzy pop..
I think if the choice was refuse surgery keep enjoying drinking fizzy pop and eventually have a stroke and possibly die?

Or do without the fizzy pop get the surgery and live a longer life? I know which is more awful out of the two.

That was me too, I was doing so well before I followed instragram slimming world. I couldn't believe how much more food I could have or all those tweets for sweet food. They can really do some damage
Completely agree with this. It’s not until you finally escape the SW vortex that you realise how toxic it is. I saw on there yesterday that someone had made a breakfast and used low fat sausages and hash browns and it was most of their daily syns so they were beating themselves up about it. Although it was a perfectly balanced, low calorie breakfast.

Another story popped up with a girl who wanted to eat a muller fruit corner but discovered it was 6 syns so didn’t eat it.

Had enough of that bollocks to last a lifetime!

Really sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere but can we just discuss Southend Slimmer and his GoFundMe page for his loose skin removal surgery?!

Does anyone else this this approach is completely vulgar? Especially on his last post saying he’d have the surgery done (which is being funded by others) and then they’d save for a house 🤯

If he can save for a house, he can save for surgery!!

Not jealous in the slightest 😊
But to be fair you do keep mentioning about a lack of recognition towards you and your big loss from SW and how Snares etc aren't worthy of recognition (i'm not saying they are).
Saying how you're not bothered by it but then mentioning how you haven't had an article, man of year or mr sleek titles despite your 14 stone weightloss implies that you are disgruntled you've been overlooked

Is beingbrittany the girl with unusual eyebrows, posts a lot of fashion pictures. I follow her, I didn’t think she was a slimming world member.

You can call me old fashioned but I don’t like seeing people in their underwear on instagram. I don’t need to see that when I was scrolling through Instagram while eating an Alpen bar
Put your semi away, dickhead!

I’m really glad a place like tattle exists to allow me to vent to others who see through all these people. Beatrice is another who does my absolute head in! Firstly, there is no need to post transformation pics every single day, you haven’t changed what you look like since yesterday. Secondly, using posts of when you were pregnant as your before is not inspiring, that’s not a true representation of how much weight you’ve lost if at least a stone of that was baby and water. Thirdly, her desperation to be insta famous makes me want to crawl up my own arse. If it’s not the daily transformations, it’s the tagging galslovehighstreet in all her outfit posts so they’ll reshare to get her seen. She’s an absolute pest. And her glasses are shit.

Got to love some of the Pinch of Nom recipes calling for 25g of cheese to cover an entire potato topped pie to serve 4 😂😂 have you seen the size of the authors 🤣 easy to publish stuff like that when you’re clearly not only eating your own recipes 🤣

When giving nearly £6 a week to slimming world, keep in mind the fact that they are bullying a small community keep fit or weight loss program by threatening to report the group to HMRC and are trying tactics such as querying public liability insurance of the venue we use, the council have received complaints and the community group leader is being threatened with trading standards. We now have a meeting on the 10th to see if we’re viable to continue, thank you Slimming World for pushing a well intended idea and the leader to breaking point. Abysmal company with shocking tactics!

Piss off Chloe. You've put some powdered sugar on wholemeal bread. It's not french toast
Silly girl, if she had used a teacake (bap, barm, roll, muffin..whatever other heretical names people choose) instead she could have a had herself a syn free doughnut

Through the power of deprivation (or desperation not mutually exclusive) and with a dash of delusion, you too can believe a stale lump of bread, a layer of laboratory made white powder than would make Pablo Escobar blush and a smidge of jam are just like a Krispy Kreme

Ah thank you. She has a cheek, her posts are littered with spelling and grammar mistakes which wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t her “bUsIneSs” 🤣 I think most of us Tattlers are actually extremely intelligent and eloquent, that’s why we’re able to see through all these insta huns and call them out! I love how they cry troll but never actually show what’s been said, as usually the points made are perfectly valid so they can’t really argue with them!
The Instagram huns want just the nice comments and adoration for their profile and they want zero challenges to their questionable content, the moment they are challenged or questioned, you see a more passive aggressive side to their personality, that usually contradicts the personality that they are trying to portray on social media, it speaks volumes about who they really are.

When you ask a question about something they don’t like or if they are challenged over their content, this is when the ugly side of the personality comes out as a defence mechanism. They know that they are hoodwinking their followers, these people are extremely vain, shallow and have narcissistic traits.

I find any form of begging online so distasteful.

Jack Towers got everything he deserved.

What is my eyes seeing?
No doubt this is my fault too 😄

Anyone follow Beckscross? I can’t remember if she’s calorie counting or doing sw right now but she has just done one of my PET HATES! I cannot stand it when big accounts do the “ask me anything’s” and then message themselves a question about a random app they sell in order for them to put a huge ad up about it. NO ASKS THESE QUESTIONS!! I bet she got loads about her new baby, her clothes etc and the only ones she answers are the fake “how are you lovely?” And the app question.
