Surely, SURELY, the Labour Party wouldn't be stupid enough to vote in Ms Rayner as PM?
The Labour party is fundamentally undemocratic because it's not the MPs who have much control over direction it's the Unions who are the key funders and the NEC.

This is how they end up with leaders who Unions bigwigs love but ordinary workers, unionised and non-unionised, rightfully identify as incompetent nutters eg Jeremy 'I love Hamas, me' Corbyn and Ed 'Brits pay more for their energy than anyone else in Europe because of my unworkable renewables policy, yay!' Miliband.

Fellow Tattlers who like me have either been in a Union or been bullied at work for declining to join one will know that they're rackets which exist to enrich the bigwigs (Arthur Scargill's multi-million Mayfair pad paid by his union whilst Welsh miners starved, anyone?) and platform stupid causes like burly fellas in dresses pretending to breastfeed in the workplace.

The Unions love Big Ange because she owes her career to them and will keep them in clover; they're the Mafia and she'll be their frightened restaurant owner paying protection money. So she may well get in. And then, out in the real world, the bond market will tit the bed.

@neroli Johnson's defenstration was a cowardly move and undemocratic because the 2019 landslide was all because of him. However since the UK media, civil service, third sector and every other Establishment you can think of all pays lip service to the classist, racist and sexist New Progressive Left, he had to go.

The New Progressive Left likes to pretend that the UK is constantly in danger of being swamped by evil right wing forces. Actually the class with all the power who's doing all the swamping is the Elite Progressive Left.

Raynor making moves is no surprise, it shows the utter contempt that party have for the voter. Not so much the Lab voters as they'll vote for a lump of rit if it had a red rosette on it.

The wider public have seen enough of Labour, regardless of who is in charge.

As for Streeting, he's a mini Starmer. It's telling that he thinks he can hide away from his previous close relationship with Mandleson.

Rayner - isn't getting in - she's got tax baggage and too left wing
Burnham - doesn't have a route as not an MP
Streeting - apparently may have more incriminating texts from Mandy than KS and his chief of staff - so he's a no
Reeves - wont be interested
Philipson - not experienced enough
Nandy - Ditto
McFadden - too harsh and unpopular
Liz Kendall - too Mumsy and soft appearing
Please not Lammy
Mahmood - is unlikely to be popular and seems to be doing ok as HS

The only two I'd consider:

Yvette Cooper - I really rate her
Ed Miliband - hearts in the right place

The likely outcome - Starmer remains

Really, is that true about Streeting? I'd be disappointed if so, he seems like a pretty switched on fella to me, albeit that's against some pretty pisspoor competition.

Ed Miliband's a dangerous idiot, because he's forcing deeply unworkable energy policies based on the ravings of a mentally ill teenager whom he met at Davos and unaccountably decided to take seriously. If basing policies on the ravings of a sick child who didn't graduate high school is a sensible way to run the country then sure the drug-nutter who screams mad tit outside my local Spar can have the job and all.

The Grid we have isn't compatible with the very limited and poorly working renewable infratstructure we have. He's also blocking the Govt from moving forward with new data centres, which Britain desperately needs if we're to keep up with the rushing tide of AI and actually, you know, have some jobs left. Ed doesn't care about this because he thinks single, ineffective wind turbines are a better use of public funds than AI technology which will fundamentally change how humanity lives and works.

Also, fucker looks dumb as hell eating sandwiches.

TBH I think 'having one's heart in the right place' is, like, the WORST qualification to lead a country, ever. Because on that basis Hitler's heart was in the right place, he sincerely believed with all his heart in Make Das Reich Great Again, he just thought he had to annex Austria, Czechoslovakia and Poland and cleanse Europe of Jews in order to do it.

Milliband is a Marxist lunatic, much like his dad, and his bro is balls deep in global tech politics.

Yvette Cooper is as much in it for herself and her hubby as any of the rest of the bleeps at the trough - flipped their home in the 2000s and abused parliamentary expenses privileges, and is also the very picture of hypocrisy and sanctimony with her #refugeeswelcome sign...

None of them, of any colour, are fit to govern - made worse by the fact that they have no shame and really dont care, playing their crappy little games out on the world stage whilst we become poorer, vulnerable and isolated. The whole edifice needs to fall.

RE streeting, apparently there is some connection between mandelson's lobbying org (Global Counsel) and Wes Streeting. This could be a savvy move by Kier Starmer if he knows theres not much in the text messages \ emails from himself, but is for Streeting (who has really been his main challenger, apart from Burnham)

All just rumours though.

Johnson was forced to go because his Cabinet ministers resigned en masse.

Lucy Powell?
:ROFLMAO: No.

Plus she has her X account permantly set to block replies/comments. Even when she has the audacity to post her "Lucy Listens" posts - still with replies/comments disabled. No chance of being PM and having to continually defend the actions of the rest of the shambles when she can't cope with running an X account.

How long are we even giving this absolute tool in the prime minister position?
His position is no longer tenable. It shouldn’t have been before after all his cover-ups with grooming gangs

She's just your Bog standard champagne socialist - very privileged upbringing and very wealthy politically-adjacent husband. Notwithstanding the fact she's just a big pile of tit 🤣
Even Starmer sacked her once already.

That's quite the career milestone to have managed.

Let's take our pick of Labour ministers who have consistently stated that women can have a pen, men should be put in women's prisons if they want to be and they have now decided to be called Barbara, cervixes can be grown in laboratories etc. etc. I cannot vote for a political party that is willing to throw women under the bus and dehumanise them. I'd rather be ruled by Kim Jong Un.

The story is that Streeting was actually the person McSweeney had lined up to be the eventual PM. He promoted Starmer as a bridge because of his closeness to Corbyn. He was essentially a Trojan horse as he was able to successfully stand on a Corbynista platform to get chosen as leader. I don't think that anyone, including McSweeney expected the Tories to implode so much that Starmer actually became PM.

Streeting has the problem of being known to be close to McSweeney and also PM. He only very recently deleted a picture of himself with PM from his social media. His other big problem is that he is sitting on the thinnest of majorities.

Zero chance now. Streeting is finished. Not just from his worship of Mandelson, not just from his thuggish tweets about pushing people under buses and attacking people, but the doctors all hate him (and there's a lot of them), AND there's a *huge* scandal brewing about his manipulation of NHS waiting lists. It's been overshadowed this week but it will come back. Tons of the public know they've been shat on by the NHS because of the manipulation they've been up to to make him look good.

Will be Ange that takes over from Starmer, because the Unions love her and they know she will do what they want, and they have huge voting power in Labour leadership elections, that will override votes from the ordinary members. However they are failing to understand the continuing public depth of feeling about her tax antics and house antics (twice) and also that the prospect of Ange in charge will tank the markets, so she will be unable to lead/govern and won't last long. Just a shame it will be her that gets to claim "first female leader of the Labour party / more glass ceilings broken" etc etc when it will be completely without merit, even when she's not in charge for long.

Labour have zero chance until they start to fully understand (and appreciate) what a true woman is. Plus quit pandering to minority activist politics.

A woman is not someone with a pen!

They totally under-estimate the female vote and how continually pissing off such a sizable group will see them definitely lose the next election.

They keep dithering about after the EHRC made their ruling more than clear regarding biological sex.

I really would not be surprised if the EHRC ruling had still not been enacted by the end of this year - even though they would have had more than enough time to do so.

Conspiracy theory #3425
The more male women there are the less male men who can propagate the species.
This lowers indigenous birth rates which leverages migration.
As a funny side effect of the feminization of men, not only is the birthrate falling but also there is a crisis in the gay community as everyone wants to be a bottom and there are no tops left 🤪
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed days, dark sacred nights
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

He survives for now, but if there's damming information in all the documents being reviewed he's off. Thousands of pages and all it'll take is one sentence.

Will be a disaster if he's forced out with no one even 25% decent ready to take over.

As always, the people that can afford it least will pay the cost of this turmoil.
