Right so meeting King Charles means he's absolved of any financial diddling.

Good god, he really is his own worst enemy. What on earth is he thinking with this one? There’s only one person keeping this story alive for a sizeable audience. AND THAT’S HIM!!!

Who reads leaflets from the Liberal Democrat’s? I know your social media clout has gone off a cliff, Simon, but even you’ve got more reach than that lot. I’m half tempted to visit his local pub in Hockley and scrawl, “Simon conned us out of £500k” onto the back of a toilet door to see if I can elicit another 3,000 word dissertation out of him. Just count yourself lucky that you’re not in prison and keep your head down for Christ's sake!!!

Oh and I’ve never once seen anyone wish you harm on tattle, Simon. I distinctly remember once posting that I genuinely hope your moronic behaviour doesn’t lead to real world physical consequences for you or your family, beyond maybe a custard pie in the face every time you leave the house. In fact, I genuinely feel that us Tattlers have shown more concern for the online safety of your children than you ever have. We often encourage you to give a moments thought to their privacy, dignity and wellbeing before using them for clicks and likes on Facebook. So you can get in the bleeping bin with that one.

Imagine the poor guys at Essex police. First you’ve got to deal with calls from Simon because people are being mean by discussing things that he admitted he did. Then tanskiii is on the phone asking you to arrest someone for joking that she shagged Russ in Mingeshire. Then you have to deal with salty allotment crimes before nipping in to see Jack Monroe and her suspiciously tiny scales… oh and the celebrity squad need to fit in twitter monitoring too. Exhausting stuff.

"forget about conflicts of interest, due diligence and value for money for a moment"

(although fair enough the Lib Dems have ducked it there)

Although "Lib Dems misrepresenting/outright lying in campaign literature" is hardly a new phenomenon

Keep wasting your time Simon...you're still forever going to be known as the guy who grifted half a million quid off the local council because of a dodgy deal with your mate.
that's the thing. all this nitpicking over details and zeroing in on this (which to be fair, is being clumsily represented to the point it could be argued is a misrepresentation). It's a bold move to imply that Private Eye are publishing untruths, whilst skimming over all the other stuff Private Eye covered about KindSocialKindKindKindSocialyness and Suffolk, natch.
