Simon is a very poor judge of character.

I'd call him an 'enabler'. Hanging around scum like King and Clifford to further his own career, to feather his nest, to make money. A vile, insecure, attention-seeking insect who has just enough about him to know how to manipulate the weak and vulnerable. Simon viewed King as a mentor. He had less to do with Clifford I believe, I just think his career path meant that they naturally over-lapped. The end-of-the-pier showbiz and light-entertainment industry is like a stagnant cess-pool that attracts the most vilest of creatures. You know a wrong'un when you see one. Simon is a wrong'un in my opinion.

Do I think he fiddled with kids? No I do not. But I do think he turned a blind eye. I think he's a sly operator. I do think he enjoys a bit of psychological torture when it comes to vulnerable people wanting to be 'famous'. I think he's a bit of a nasty twisted cunt full of self-loathing and on occcasion that side of him bleeds out, a bit like David Walliams, who is another nasty bastard circling around the toilet bowl of light ent like a turd that won't flush. I’ve just binged this whole thread, what a wild ride!!
My two pennorth- the odd body shape, wasted legs, comfy clothes, corset, even the appearance of being on heavy medication could all be resultant of a spinal injury when he broke his back. The wrist splint and facial drooping could both be due to a stroke- maybe that’s why he keeps falling off his bike. I think he has too much dirt on, and connection to, other celebrities for real scandals to come out.

Being seriously ill concentrates the mind. Maybe he doesn’t want the sympathy, the pity, the knowing looks. People react differently to big events. I think I would try and contain the news if I were in the same boat. Privacy and being discreet seems odd when every cough and fart ends up on some peoples social media. I've always assumed he puts his name on them like others have before that are known and not but not written by him. I tried to read one with my nieces but found it awful. As for Cowell a friend that worked with him said he was not someone you'd want to get on the wrong side of.
