I still can't get my head around the whole thing with Lucy Spraggan. Overnight he has become a surrogat dad to her, paying for tit and giving her away at a wedding, it is bleeping bizarre.

He must be terrified she'll talk if he doesn't keep her happy? I don't blame her for going after what she can get after what happened to her but personally I'd want to be far away from the man who was running the well-oiled machine that got her to keep quiet after that awful event.

Lucy comes across as very malleable. The way her image changes dependant on who her partner is, is telling.
I think she is quite vulnerable behind the angry exterior

Goodness !! Just seen simon Cowell video about the fires , what the hell has happened to him though. Hes defo had a stroke.. the left side of his face is terrible , can hardly talk properly and his eye's not right. Unless it's all the botox and surgery, if so what a mess... shocking

He's had that much Botox his face has collapsed.

He looks horrendous and has overdone the fillers/Botox so badly that it has damaged the underlying tissue. It makes you wonder who on earth he was going to - they must have known the damage it was doing.

When did he start speaking in such an Americanised way? The inflection at the end of every word is massively irritating.

We're up to episode three so far. It's watchable enough but feels terribly old hat. The scenes with the boys are fine and natural (they're all likeable and sweet) but all the managerial and Cowell's personal discussions feel extremely manufactured and played for the camera. So, same-old same -old.

It's definitely watchable but it does feel very dated. It's just a mixture of X Factor and some very scripted 'at home with' style documentary.

It feels like Simon sees his wife as a member of staff more than a wife.

I won't spoil it but I don't think he made the right decision with the band.

He needs to sack his PR. He comes across as a controlling, bizarre little man, who isn't used to dealing with 'the little people'. His marriage comes across as a sham and his interactions with everyone are beyond awkward.

To be completely honest is there a gap in the market for boy bands?? There doesn’t seem to be much of an interest in a boyband anymore.. also I don’t think a 7 piece band will work but happy to be proved wrong!

Everything goes in cycles and Simon Cowell's 'thing' with boybands, etc. and the 'reality creation' seems done, for the time being. Most people wised up to it and it's all become tiresome. He should retire, look after his health and his son. Not that he can't afford to.

The manufactured band thing, with larger numbers only really seems to still be thriving in the K-Pop market, and unless I'm just a bit blind to it all, K-Pop doesn't even seem to be as big as it was a few years ago.
