As an autistic person I can tell you that her kids aren’t showing signs of autism. It’s bad parenting. Theyre the type of kids you would move away from at the park and it’s all her fault
Can’t lie I think the teachers and EdPsych who know them in real life are better placed to comment on it than a rando on the internet with autism or not. If they’re backing her as far as attending mediation with her re:Braxton’s school place then there are clearly worries there far beyond the aspects caused by bad parenting. That’s a lot of time and effort for the school in particular to go to.

Do I think her kids are on the spectrum? Probably. Do I think it’s anywhere near as bad as she’s making out? No. I think her kids know how to get what they want and this makes them seem worse than they are. Of course braxton will duck about at school if he knows he’ll come home and get a McDonald’s for lunch
I agree and I think the school are also to blame here because they constantly seem to phone Sian to get them at the slightest inconvenience. So Braxton’s and Lennox’s bad behaviour is encouraged by both the bad parenting from Sian and the ineffective school.
If the school cannot cope with Braxton and Lennox they should have started the ball rolling for specialist provision a lot earlier rather than “oh tit, Braxton is in year 6, his mum says he won’t cope with mainstream secondary and we know she’s right, better start backing her.” If they can cope then they shouldn’t phone Sian all the time as they’re letting the kids down massively by doing it and encouraging the bad behaviour probably even more than Sian is tbf.
Guaranteed as it is the same issue will recur again in 5 years with Lennox (or however many years it is until she’s in year 6 applying for high schools).
I agree the school is to blame too however if I was a teacher would I be arsed with kids like that bleeping around day in day out? I’m talking neurotypical kids too. It’s horrific when a few bad eggs ruin it for the rest of the class when they’re all there to learn.
Also don’t get me started on how she treats that poor dog!
