That last scene when she saw her daughter smiling really got to me and the real lady herself, I thought was so fitting. Sheridan and the rest of the cast looked like that scene was REAL and no acting. Loved it. That series will be hard to top, just love real life drama series. There's a couple I could think of would be good dramas.

Interesting reading this thread.
I've followed Sheridan's career since two pints. She played some amazing roles a few years ago and was the go-to leading lady, so it was strange to see her presenting that dog grooming show and doing those cover albums.
The moment she began getting those huge arm and hand tattoos was when I really felt something wasn't right (nothing against tattoos, but an actress getting that many big visible ones in a short space of time felt like a red flag)
I hate to say it, but I've known alcoholics and both her appearance and behaviour almost certainly points to a serious problem with drinking.
Just hope her little boy is being looked after, she clearly loves him to pieces!

Must agree about the tattoos again nothing against them and I guess they can be covered up, but seems like it could vastly limit roles she might be offered. Such a shame she was one of my favourite actresses.

This came up on my Facebook ‘things I might like’ and I’m not really sure what to make of it. Have there been any other reports of misogyny coming from The Jonathan Ross Show? I’m sure others would have said if it happened to them. And it said in the article JR asked if everything was ok but she said it wasn’t him?

I didn’t see the show but if she was plastered then it will be harder to get to the bottom of what happened.

She was the only female on a male dominated show, with the men having strong personalities. she had nothing much to add other than laughing like a drain anytime Gary Barlow said anything. She was there because Gary and her have a Xmas song out, which they sang at the end, which was shite. I think she probably blames her team for not having a more female inclusive guest list. Someone like Holden would relish being the only female and would still hog the limelight, Sheridan was not cowed but had no presence other than wtf has she done to her face/has she been on a bender she looks awful. Sheridan has talent but oh so many issues.

Can someone explain why the DM are out for her blood? Like it's so glaringly obvious they want her to be another celebrity tragedy. I'd get it if she were loathsome or revered as infamous but I don't think she is??

When she did funny girl, they were frothing at the mouth always putting her in the sidebar of shame when she clearly had personal troubles and her father later died soon after.

Last night when the show was announced to close early, it was their top banner. Anyone know why? Who has she made enemies with??!

Sadly that’s just the tabloid press and women. They build them up to rip them back down again. Same as it ever was, from Marilyn Monroe all the way through to Amy Winehouse, Caroline Flack and Sheridan. I don’t think it’s personal, she’s just an easy target for them. It’s pretty gross.

I really like her, from her down to earth openess about her mental health issues etc to her fantastic acting.
As others have said the loss of her dad naturally affected her a lot. Hope she has a good support network around her. She always comes across as lovely in interviews.

The Teacher- channel 5. Looked a bit cheap, but a slightly different role which might be interesting?

No Return- itv. She's getting typecast as the tragic mum again! Looked like it's about a son who gets jailed in a foreign prison, not sure if it's based on a true story or not?

She's certainly packed in quite a few acting gigs despite her issues, but I do feel she's taking the soapy, less challenging roles. Maybe she's happy doing these made for TV dramas, but I just feel she has the ability to do something more gritty!

That Jonathan Ross show was a odd viewing. I can’t really put my finger on why exactly but it felt like fingers down a blackboard viewing. Sting was mega grumpy and none of the funny stories were that funny really. They were either trying too hard or looked like they didn’t want to be there.

As I said in Charley's thread, I don't think they will, but they're barely hiding it.

I find it quite strange. Not that they don't want to publicly announce it, but that they're being so blatant about it whilst not wanting to announce it. You'd think they'd be more discreet.

I also wonder why the Daily Mail have been very heavily hinting about the relationship for a few years now, but we don't have the usual Daily Mail tactic of a quote confirming it along the lines of "a source says the pair are very much loved up" like you usually get from them. The Daily Mail certainly aren't above outing relationships, which makes me wonder if they've made some sort of an agreement with them.

Anyway, I haven't seen much that Sheridan is in, but she comes across as a canny yet fragile lass, and I always find myself rooting for her. I can't take to Charley, she seems like quite a cold person.

Been a fan of Sheridan and all the people from two pints, I’m watching two pints atm lol and have been enjoying will and ralfs podcast and was hoping for a reunion of sorts but from watching them talk about a reunion it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen, anyone know what happened between them?

I hope Sheridan is ok, she’s always been a fav of mine and I hope she can get through what she’s going through for her sake and her little boys xx

I've only listened to the first ep of their podcast, but from what I remember, did Ralf pretty much say she's ghosted him for a while now. Such a shame - I remember them hanging out for years and they seemed to be very close friends
