Really looking forward to watching this, from the same region as Ann Ming so followed the story in the local paper and news for many years. She has never had the recognition or credit she deserved. Such a sad story. Glad to hear Sheridan has done her justice.

I'm a big fan, but loathed both the teacher and no return. So boring, stale, drawn out. There's no way either would have got commissioned without Sheridan imo.
And the Saturday night thing (can't remember the name) is such a boring cringe fest.
Wtf is going on with her, is she being badly advised with the roles she's choosing or are these the only type of roles she's being offered now?

Her teeth were distracting, but tbf, it fits that the character would have bad veneers from Turkey.

I'm going to be tired tomorrow cos I couldn't stop after one episode and binged the lot. I honestly forgot it was Sheridan Smith I was watching. So very well done. And, yes, tears at the end here too.

It was incredibly moving. The last episode had my eyes leaking. Sheridan is a brilliant actress.

I'm about 5 years younger than her and I know a couple of people my age who are actually grandparents, and a couple more who have kids old enough that they could be.

My mum was a grandparent at that age, I don’t dispute that Sheridan is the right age, I just always think of her as a youngster.

What’s everyone’s thoughts? She is obviously very troubled. I feel like I’m witnessing a breakdown online and it’s very uncomfortable to see. Wasn’t it only the other week she accused her partner of cheating and now she’s posting photos of them together again?

Bloody hell, I remember a few weeks ago she was calling this bloke the love of her life and then as you said a bit later on she was accusing him of cheating and saying it’s ‘just her and her son from now on’ and now she’s back with him?!

Sadly that’s just the tabloid press and women. They build them up to rip them back down again. Same as it ever was, from Marilyn Monroe all the way through to Amy Winehouse, Caroline Flack and Sheridan. I don’t think it’s personal, she’s just an easy target for them. It’s pretty gross.

To an extent but not all celebrities seem get the same treatment as Sheridan. When Katie price gets caught driving while banned again or Mel B admits she lived at her Mum's home while bankrupt, that doesn't make the top banner. The DM editorial team seem to have a vitriolic obsession with Sheridan and I just don't understand why.

Loads of theatre shows end early and we never hear of it.

Yes she was so pretty.
Just saw a clip of a podcast with Julia Davis and Rob Bryson from Gavin and Stacey and Julia looks like she’s had loads of work done too and she looked way better before.

Loved her in Two Pints but never followed her much after that. She seems someone who should have been fairly big but didn't quite 'make it'. I know she's done other stuff but it seems her personal life gets in the way.

And by making it I mean like Olivia Coleman level

There was a time when her and Olivia Colman seemed to be in every other program. I've joked before that the only thing missing was them playing a couple!

Which didn't happen, but they were both in the same thing once.

I wondered about this too. The tree ended up across the road and was blocking it. She went home before calling the police and a farmer removed the tree. It seems like there is a lot more to it.

Glad I found this thread! Been a fan of Sheridan and all the people from two pints, I’m watching two pints atm lol and have been enjoying will and ralfs podcast and was hoping for a reunion of sorts but from watching them talk about a reunion it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen, anyone know what happened between them?

I hope Sheridan is ok, she’s always been a fav of mine and I hope she can get through what she’s going through for her sake and her little boys xx
