Bar of soap and an aldi shower gel - I’ve not bought soap or shower gel in well over a year, I will get down to one of each before I purchase any more (it won’t be any time soon 🙈)

Aussie Spray conditioner - I buy this on repeat but wasn’t sure if it was doing much until I recently started using it between washes, now I see and feel the benefits

Shay and blue Mini perfume Atropa Belladonna - from advent calendar, didn’t like the scent so mixed it with other scents that are just ok to me

Mario badescu hyaluronic dew cream mini - from advent calendar, had pilling issues every time I used it

Filorga Hydra-Hyal Serum mini - from advent calendar, it was nice but can’t say I noticed anything wowing

Ordinary hair growth serum - repeat purchase for me but I cant use it every day as per instructions (hair wash needed after use on my greasy roots)

Palmers gradual tan - love this stuff, I’m never without it

Nyx micro brow pencil. Found it at the back of my drawer so I’ve used it up but I won’t repurchase as I tint my brows now.
L’Oréal infallible eyeliner in brown. Don’t think I’ve ever used an eyeliner up 👀 got an essence one to use now.

Do you tint them yourself? If so what do you use? The beauticians don’t last for me

Been sorting out my makeup and think I'll just have to try stuff out and work out of it suits me because having swatched everything, there isn't anything that I immediately thought wasn't for me. That being said the Nars products I have are so grim. The rubberised packaging has gone all sticky 🤢 Every single compact has broken, they still shut fine but where the hinge is, all the plastic has crumbled 😳 Should I cut my losses and pitch them all, try them out first or depot them before trying them?

I degummed my UD Naked with surgical spirit on a cotton rag. It takes the whole coating off leaving the shiny plastic beneath.

Just finished an Oskia renaissance mask.

I liked it but it's hella expensive and I can't justify repurchasing.

The Body Shop Banana Conditioning hair mask. Shame it's empty, really liked it. The Garnier hair food one made my hair greasy.

Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser.
This was a repurchase and I would buy again once I’ve used up my other cleansers.
Cleanses my skin well without leaving it dry or tight.

This month I finished a Soap and Glory The Real Zing Body Scrub. This was kind of meh, won't repurchase.

Had another little sort out and found some expired products that needed chucking. A Benecos Raspberry Lip Balm that was in a gift box from when I left my job two years ago. A Toun 28 Lip Balm and a The Vegan Glow Shampoo Bar which I got in a couple of beauty advent calendars.

Two empties from me!

• Lush “honey i washed the kids” shower gel - Smelled kind of weird, like honey that was going off 😭 if that even makes sense. Basically smelled way too strong and it separated in the bottle and was a bit slimy. Glad I only got a mini

• Givenchy L’interdit 30ml perfume - This is soooo lovely, I don’t really have anything else like it in my collection so I think I’ll miss it a lot, but I just have so much perfume. It doesn’t last very long but I love the smell 💗

Paula’s Choice Salicylic Acid Body Treatment. Purchased it aaaaages ago and finally used it up, not even sure it worked 100% anymore as had it so long.

Does work well as a chemical exfoliant, especially on back, arms and butt, skin noticeable smoother and softer next day and did clear up the odd back pimples I used to get.

However it’s really expensive and for that reason I won’t repurchase. £33 feels like too much for a body product even if it does last a while.

Same situation as me, I had the same one, it's just too expensive.

Finally finished my little bottle of Zara Nude Bouquet which is apparently a dupe of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet which I've never tried to know if it actually is. I can tell you that I will definitely repurchase this. It's lovely, very affordable and I've had a few compliments on it especially in the office. The 30ml is perfect for my handbag 👜 💐

Kamill intensive hand & nail cream. This smells lovely, I'd buy it again. It was cheap, can't recall how much but I got it in Home Bargains. It's hard to get a decent quality hand cream with a nice smell.

Also from Home Bargains was their recent shower gel called Xalien. It was 99p and has a nice but subtle fragrance.

Just finished a bottle of Lacura shampoo from Aldi. Was a dupe of the Elvive volumising one. Don't think I'd bother with that again, as when Tesco have offers you can get the Elvive one at a decent price and there's just something about the Lacura one I dislike. Quite thick and hard to lather into my hair.
