1 month into adopting Loki, we were told he'd need a tooth extracted but on the day itself, 12 were removed!! He also lost both top fangs naturally a couple of years ago and honestly, it hasn't bothered him at all. He eats soft food and biscuits just like his sister who still has a full complement of gnashers. Don't worry too much cats are resilient little blighters. Our vet reassured us Loki would not have problems and it's proven to be the case.We’ve been given the news that Peach has a wobbly tooth and so needs to go for a dental assessment and likely lots of extractions. She’s always had issues with her gums before we had her, and we were so upset to find she has little wobbly teeth despite brushing her teeth as best we can and using every gum product under the sun. Feel so terrible!!
has anyone had cats with missing teeth, either full or partial? It’s likely a lot of her teeth are going to have to come out I think. She favours her dry food and I just don’t want her quality of life to be affected but I also don’t want her suffering with poor little achey, sore gums and tooth ache
