Lost this beautiful orange gentle giant (approx 4 yo) with the biggest purr ever this weekend. :( 3 of the other rescues still unwell, it has been a very long few weeks.

I'm getting some work done on my house later this week.

I got a call from the company this afternoon to confirm the visit.

Her: "Will there be someone there, aged 18 or over, to give permission for the work to go ahead?"

Me: "Yes, me, the cat's only 8 so he's no use."

Her: "He's the brains of the operation though?"

Me: Oh yes, runs the house he does."

Her: "Thought so, I have one of those as well."

Susan was going crazy an hour ago. Bouncing off the walls, scratching the couch and screaming. Now she's sitting quietly like a good cat, being all sweet.
Never a dull day.

What a beautiful boy. I hope you're recovering well. 💜 🐾
Cats really help when you're sick, I have a lot of abdominal issues and Thor always comes up to lie on my stomach and give me healing purrs.
Same, my cat who never sleeps with me slept with me for a week when I injured my back. This is her currently

Hi, just wanted to let you know I got good news from my consultant: no migration of the cancer, so just radiotherapy and hormone treatments. So bloody lucky.

Please go for a mammogram if you can. Mine would never have been palpable as it was so deep.
