Susan's been like that since we got her at 4 months, she's 12 now! Always shouting the odds about something.
My little boy is the same, always miaowing for something. When I got him he was a tiny kitten, I had an hour trip back home with him on public transport with him screaming the whole way. I was mortified, gave me a whole new empathy for parents of screaming children in public 😂

I've just returned from a 4 day trip away with friends, hubby, as the spare hooman, has been chief carer in my absence. I think I may have been missed...

Cats are the best alarms! 😹
Except when tbe weather is bad and they don't want to get up, the weather here has been grey recently and whenever my alarm goes off for work and I haven't heard from the cats I'm convinced it's a mistake and I have more time to sleep, turns out they're just in hibernation mode 😂

I get ordered out of bed at the crack of dawn.

I got Jimmy a slow feeder mat to help with his food gulping.

it's been a great success only...

There's always a dozen or so biccies that he can't reach so I must get up and use my opposable thumbs to tip them into his bowl for him.

The other morning he was so eager that I was tipping them onto his head the greedy eejit.

I'm having some new blinds out in my bedroom. I thought it would be next week so we prepared the window area by painting and removing the current blinds/curtains. Turns out it'll be a few weeks yet. So I'm sleeping in the spare room. The cats usually sleep in this room as I have to kick them out of my bedroom as they'll wake me up.
In the day time one day is usually in the catio and if not will be in my bedroom on their cat tree. The other cat lives the cat tree in my bedroom and spends most of her time on it and usually I have to kick her off if to go to bed then she'll go into the spare room.
Last night sleeping in the spare room the cat who usually I have to kick off the car tree has been sat crying outside the spare room on & off all night. I've just been trying to ignore her but I feel bad. But yesterday I tried to let her in whilst I slept and she just constantly was waking me up so I can't let her in whilst I sleep

I've just discovered this thread so looking forward to working my way back through them all. I've been catless for 18 months as we were too sad after losing our 17 year old lady. We are hoping to adopt this little man tomorrow. We are very excited and a bit apprehensive as it's been a while since we did the kitten thing. No name yet but open to suggestions 😊

Is it a tortie? Or does the pic just make it look that way

We think some sort of tabby but with a lot of white. His siblings are all black and white (or white and black).

We had a proper tortie growing up but all my cats as an adult have been black and female so we wanted a change. In fact I've never had a male cat or had one in the family as far back as I can remember.

Thank you, I'm not sure we know what we are letting ourselves in for. Just spent an hour trying to kitten proof a room and build a small cat tree and set things up. We've not seen him in person yet but all being fine we should be able to bring him home tomorrow.
