Yes, I did watch the trailer and OMG, when I saw JC/JS/ Rich Lux. Now, it makes sense why Rich Lux uploaded that video yesterday about James Charles is shaking in his boots.

I have not watched Rich Lux for a while, he definitely switched to J* payroll. So the documentary was filmed all the Tatti/JC/J* drama happened...I still think that was all engineered by J*, who loves either lighting the match and/or involving himself in everything. Wonder what is said about Manny as there was a shot of his picture at the make up store.
Did not like the song for the trailer or get the people leaving comments about how emotional it was.

Came across his new videos on YouTube all about Jeffree and was like wtf is he back?! No (serious) mention of his cancellation just lots of little jokes or anything that went on with Tati, all focussed on Jeffree leaving YouTube and Shane showing the 2nd pallet they never got to release (weirdly enough called Doomsday)

I was never a fan of Shane, but I was more kind of neutral to him before and even enjoyed some of his videos in the past. But in the last year or so I started disliking him more and more due to his hypocrisy and victim complex plus his association with Jafar and Trasha. I knew he had a problematic past but I didn't know its extent. Given that Shane is someone that can't take criticism, even if he's not cancelled in the long run, this must be hurting a lot for him and regardless of me not liking him and thinking he totally deserves the backlash, I hope that he doesn't self harm and that he gets therapy eventually, gets better and becomes a better person.
I'm neutral to Ryland and he might not be a saint either (I have no idea), but I hope he's alright. It must be emotionally exhausting living with Shane, and even worse at this time and also getting backlash for his association to Shane.

Yes, he should stay silent at this point and let everything unfold and them destroy each other. Maximum a small PR statement confirming he supports Tati but nothing more than that.

He got luckily with his graveyardgirl documentary.
The JS one went well because like him of not , JS is an interesting character
since then it’s been set in stone that Shane does great documentaries.
He really, really doesn’t. The EC episode and JP series should have had more people speaking out against him and his half arsed, lazy attempts at being Oprah with snacks

Jeffree is the only reason I’m watching this series. I went into it liking Jeffree and disliking Shane.

i haven't changed my opinion at all, if anything I dislike Shane more than I realised,
I don't understand how there is no negative reviews on this at all.
although I do think drama channels are scared to say anything against golden boy Shane Dawson at this point

I feel like every Shane series I’m loving everything about it minus Shane. He has decent ideas and good connections. Someone else could execute what he comes up with much better. That someone could also “host” the videos better too. Anthony Padilla comes to mind.

FFS he should be proud that he's worth 10+ million and hasn't had to constantly scam his fans like Alfie and Zoella have.

Ok I gave in to watch the crying on the floor about 5 million. But he's saying he's never had anyone say "you deserve that" in his career. His comment section is flooded with things like that and hasn't he won awards?

I don't believe it either, surely after releasing so many t-shirts he must know they cost a couple of dollars to make and ship then the rest is profit. J* will only sell the merch for big people that bring alot of sales so that's why they'll do the 70/30 split.

It's a shame, I really loved the Jeffree Star series. Hopefully it'll pick up at some point.

So just finished the finale. This series didn’t make me want a pallet, but it did make me want a Jeffree Star Netflix show [emoji23] I cant help but think of all the young people in the world who have loved makeup their entire lives. All of the kids who are crazy talented but only have a small number of followers. I think Shane was genuinely interested in the makeup, but I can’t imagine what someone who’s dream this has always been feels seeing his success after only getting into it a year ago. Would have been much nicer if he discovered someone small and with the help of Jeffree, launched a makeup line. Might not have been as big but I doubt it would have flopped since J is as savvy a he is. I’m not someone who wears makeup every day or experiments with it much, but I don’t find the design to be attractive. It still looks too “Hot Topic” like they said it the beginning. I guess that’s just my taste though.

I like Shane, I still like Shane, I’ve never not liked Shane so this isn’t a criticism of him as a YouTuber. But god almighty was that series a joke.
A painfully long joke.
If I’m watching the news and there’s a story about a major accident, I don’t want to see Ellen pop up on screen joking around and looking for the positives in the situation.
It wouldn’t work, her content is completely different.
In the same way I don’t want to see Shane do ANY kind of documentary. None anymore.
As PR content this was brilliant for Jake Paul, it was always going to be, Shane said himself half way through that 1.45 min “I told you I’ve always had a soft spot for you” he said towards the end “I’ve always viewed you as..”
he went into this with a preconceived idea about jake and made a documentary that proves his preconceived idea ??‍
Nothing else, facts were made to fit that context.
I’m actually more angry at the reaction to the series than anything else. He shouldn’t be getting praise for this it was messy from the very start.
I’m sure il be back with more rants ?
But for now these are my thoughts.
