They’ve been best friends for about 15 years but i feel like if they met now they would never be friends. The 2023 version of themselves are very different people. I like Selena and think she’s relatively harmless but she seems to have gotten less mature and developed more of a victim complex with age. Also, i hate to say it, but she doesn’t seem very smart (based on things she’s said and done) while Taylor has a good head on her shoulders. With that said, they’ll probably remain friends for life because Taylor cherishes the few friends that have stuck with her through her low moments and Selena is definitely one of them. I think it was last year? when Selena said her team handles her social media because she hates spending too much time on there as it’s not good for her mental health. Think she needs to hand it back to them for her own sake.

I'm sure Taylor does cherish that friendship but she's also a good business woman and thrives and thirsts after positive public perception. I say that as a fan. If Selena continues to make a twat of herself on social media regarding such sensitive and serious issues like this, she'd be smart to keep that friendship out of the spotlight going forward.

Selena could probably use some social media sensitivity training tbh. She could also get the CEO of her company in line when it comes to what they're posting on Twitter. Rare is taking a hit on sales and rightfully so, imo.

I don’t think she was only talking about the music industry, nowhere in the quote or context does it indicate that at all— she even says celebrities too. That just seems like a quick excuse made up by Selena fans lol. That said, it seems a strange quote to get so upset about since it could easily have just been misspeaking or whatever. It seems there is more going on.

Obviously it’s a very complex situation to navigate. We don’t really know how their friendship played out after the donation and why some people might feel the way they do. It makes sense to feel angry if you give a kidney and the friendship changes for the worse somehow, but at the same time perhaps there is no way to show adequate ‘gratitude’. Idk there’s so much we don’t know, but what an awful situation.

Completely agree and it’s also the fact she’s 31 but with the way she acts sometimes you would think she’s a lot younger. She’s been in this world of fame for a long time now she should know by now not everyone is going to like her , sometimes people will assume things that aren’t true and yeah she’s human I’m sure there’s times it’s annoying but sometimes it’s not that big of a deal stressing over especially when it’s something small she shouldn’t care just ignore it. I don’t know if it’s some side effect from medication or maybe it’s caused by fox eye surgery/filler/eyebrow lift as her eyes do look so different to how they naturally used to be but it’s like she can’t open her eyes fully.

Tattle has a limit on videos. It won't let me post more than 4 so here's some awkward moments instead. I'm sure they have good times together but imagine living with someone who treated you like this. The little things add up. Some videos do look like they've been taken out of context.

Interesting! He does seem like he hasn’t mentally matured in the humour department past the age of 14 . I think calling it “abuse” or “arguments” is a stretch though (I know you didn’t but going off the video titles). He does seems like hard work and was probably always hard work I’d imagine.

I do find it very odd the amount of people that are praying for the downfall of their relationship though, it does make me think that’s why they’re over exaggerating things like what was shown in those videos and making it seem as though they’re in the worst relationship ever. With the way Justin seems to be now as a person, I don’t think he’d seem happy with anyone to the general public anymore because he seems super over it. Not even Selena.

Tik Tok has made be believe that it is totally Hailey and that Hailey has always fanned over/ tried to copy Selena. I believe a few things recently could be coincidences, I don't know what to believe about the eyebrow thing (if true they need to grow up).
To be honest I didn't know anything about Selena/ Kylie/ Justin/ Hailey drama but read up on Reddit about the whole thing after seeing a Tik Tok last year.

Sorry this is long. Selena posting on Instagram isn’t going to bring peace to the Middle East and it wont stop what’s going on. Nobody was asking or expecting Selena to stop what’s happening cause she doesn’t have the power to do that but Selena inserted herself into all this by liking certain things that wasn’t a smart move to like. I think her mistake was not educating herself.

Now if she had stayed silent it probably wouldn’t of been as big a deal because like you said she’s a pop star she’s not involved in politics it’s not her job and she’s not got a degree in it but neither have most of us but we still are taking interest in what’s going on as sad as it is and educating ourselves which by how she’s worded her posts and her actions online she hasn’t educated herself on what’s going on and therefore she’s not making herself come across well at all.

Selena has a huge platform she could use to educate others even if she’s unsure of what to say or how to words things there are plenty of people she could of spoke to who could of helped her and she could of helped by showing support and educating others as she has people of all ages who follow her.

Of course she has the right to not share anything at all and there’s other people with big platforms who’ve not said anything so honestly she probably shouldn’t of said anything at all because if you’re going to say or do something you have to really think before you speak, understand what’s going on , understand what’s right and what’s wrong and truly care but Selena didn’t do that so when people called her out for the things she was liking and her silence she played the victim making everything about herself when all she had to do was take time to listen to what people are saying and then if she wants to get herself involved in talking about what’s going on she’ll know how to word things.

She could be doing things privately who knows she could be donating and helping in that way but if you’re doing things privately then there’s no reason why you can’t say something publicly but with how she’s acting online it’s like she’s ashamed or afraid to say anything publicly in support of Palestine.

Idk I feel vaguely uncomfortable watching this play out because it seems kind of clear to me that Selena is having some sort of mental health crisis or health crisis. I’m sure she’s hated Hailey this whole time and shit talked her to her friends, etc., but for years she’s kept a very ‘media trained’ attitude about it and not spoken on anything and appeared ~above it all~. Seeing her randomly go off the rails on social media after all these years— and the weird TikToks and comments… something is off with her and it’s not normal behaviour.

I never cared much for Selena but during the pandemic and a bit before that, she really seemed to have grown up and had found a niche— her company, doing some campaigning for the election and some other issues and actually coming off pretty informed and capable, etc. Like I said, I’ve never been a fan but was actually impressed by her.
