Of course all the usual suspects are celebrating the Labour local election wins as if they haven't been insisting Starmer is no different whatsoever to a Tory for 18 months. When your views are all decided for you by your little echo chamber it's hard to remember what they are.

Quoting myself like a dick to clarify that I absolutely accept autism as a condition and take my hat off to any mum parenting an autistic child, just find it very suss how many claim to have one same as they all claim adhd for themselves. It was very under diagnosed in the past and when the pendulum of understanding swings it always swings too far in the other direction at first so now it's very over diagnosed.

Eccentric children, shy children and children who simply don't stay within the parameters their mothers have built for them are all being scooped up in this label that could hold them back for life. Harmless traits like quirkiness, loving a routine and being a bit of loner are now being medicalised and medicated. And call me cynical but it also gives a handy bump to the household budget to get benefits for it. That Juvederm won't pay for itself.
