Has anyone else had any thoughts of FS having a much bigger, undiagnosed condition that just purely a 'learning difficulty'? I'm thinking along the lines of the playing with dolls till 16, the literal tone of her messages and responses to SB, the lack of societal norms (i.e offering SB to have contact with Star if they split - as if they were both biological parents), the seemingly lack of emotional connection with Star, the obsessive (?) interest in a music band decades before her time.

Just a thought.

Apparently SB has been going round styal telling people she was babysitting and the child jumped on Star and killed her something along them lines, not sure about Frankie but it says she’s been having a hard time in jail but I don’t think people know the extent
I found an old Facebook post from a local a year ago, just after Star died. People were asking what happened. One of SB's family members/extended family members commented that 'she fell and hit her head and unfortunately she didn't make it' - so that was the narrative that was being produced at that time.

Glad someone else said it.

It's been playing on my mind for a while. I've felt like she was 'playing a role' in that relationship, being an actor. The responses 'because Savannah told me to' are very telling. I'm highly suspicious that anyone without a presenting neurological difficulty would take that rule and run with it no matter what.

I'm not going to come out and specify what I'm thinking as I'm not an armchair doctor ready to diagnose someone, but welcome others thoughts?

Or perhaps just the fact of being born to a feckless, thick as shite family with no moral compass or empathy. I don't know. I mean you'd have to have some intelligence and self-awareness to come out of that, and lead a different kind of life to the one you were born into.

Can I just say also, I have been in a relationship with an abusive narcissist. And even though it got to a point where I realised the damage he was causing and I knew deep down he was the worst thing for me, I also felt myself feeling like I needed him whenever we were apart. I’d find the strength to leave, but then after a couple of days with no pushback from him it was like I needed him back - so I understand FS spending that night with SB after the injunction searches etc. Its like you lose all sense, and although it’s hard to comprehend why she would be around someone who she believed was harming her child, I think the fact she hadn’t actually seen it happen it would be very easy for someone like her to pretend it didn’t happen or make excuses just so she could fill the void she felt when they were apart.

Autism, more Aspergers but I’m not a doctor, I’m very sensitive to traits anyone shows because of my own son, I thought it early on.

I think that's a hard reach on her family to be honest. A quick flick through her mums Facebook page and there's lots of lovely photos with children all well dressed and having fun. There's lots of photos of Easter baskets for all of the children and days out. Alicia also went to university and seems to be doing well enough.
YS seems to get a rough ride of it lately - I'm not sure of the exact timeline but I know her partner died. I guess there are rough times in every family.

Absolutely this . I don’t think she has anything wrong with her apart from everything you’ve just said

Very very difficult to diagnose in females although awareness is getting better in some areas. I feel like that could go a long way in explaining some of the behaviours/responses we've seen.

Yes it is as they socially mask. One of the main things is, the questions where it’s obvious what they’re getting at & she doesn’t have a clue. So literal in her replies.

I won’t get into the autism thing because although I have children on the spectrum (and have had many thoughts that I too might be) I’m not a specialist and wouldn’t like to put that out there without actually knowing much about someone other than what I’ve read on the transcript of a murder trial.

I did think perhaps FS’s Mother drinking and partying could be due to the loss of her partner. Trying to deal with her grief. An in-law of mine reacted very similar when they lost a loved one. Their personality changed over night and for a long time alcohol was their only friend.

Seems today she’s just turning to “I don’t know” or “Savannah did it/told me to” for every answer.

Or she’s potentially just a scumbag who can’t figure out how to defend her actions, but isn’t stupid enough to come up with the implausible nonsense SB spouted. I’m sure if there was something moderately wrong then her legal team would’ve ordered a psychiatric report to check she has capacity at the very least.

When you assess all the damage to Star's broken body preceding her death that little girl must already have been slowly dying. When it says how poorly and sleepy she looked in that face time with FS mum its heart breaking. The fractured skull, leg and abdominal injury were obviously making her very ill and she had a temperature.

I do believe she had one last final attack that day but even if she had not, I can't imagine her body could have carried on coping with all them injuries
If that attack hadn't have happened. I wonder how long it would have taken for FS to seek medical attentions, how ill did she actually have to become before any intervention took place

She could easily be pretending to be clueless to play up the whole ‘naive and vulnerable’ thing.

I have mentioned this before, not about Styal, I didn't know that but as the kids are related to SB and her sister is being so supportive, I have wondered a few times ... although if it was the case it was obviously a tragic accident so probably just a narrative to keep her safe inside
