Sarah’s Day #37 Kurt’s probably wishing he’d swiped the other way, but he stays for Sarah's pay day

I was more referencing the baiting. She did not need to post all the stuff she did. I think many of us would have had respect for her if she switched off for as long as she needed, to gather herself and then reveal as much or as little as they decided. But instead she made sure everyone knew something huge was going on in their lives..

I also agree this may be Kurt’s way of dealing but it just shows how immature they both are.

It would have been so much easier for Sarah to put up a simple post saying she was struggling with lockdown and so was stepping away from social media. The occasional post/ad would have been fine.

Some people would have annoyed some people over her drama at lockdown, but then there would be no need whatsoever to disclose her medical issue! She could have come back, after taking time to deal in private and put a face on and say. Thank you for being patient while I took some me time, also share the news I am pregnant!

But she had been hinting at pregnancy for weeks, but like many people were not expecting any complications and it took her by surprise. She had not yet disclosed her pregnancy and stepping away would have been way better than anything else she posting during that period!

Holy smokes. Did a light polite enquiry on her most recent post to ask: if after her sales with white fox boutique whether she would collab with a sustainable and ethical clothing company??? Comment deleted.

Mate, that was just a slight breeze, you are not equipped to be a functioning adult. Get some resilience, re prioritise your life and become a better person.

Do it just for shits and gigs and you might just start enjoying your life again??

the way Sarah mentioned that they're already making connections with specialists and building a care team for this baby makes me think that something has definitely been confirmed and she's just clutching at straws with her 1% chance of normality

Yes from an objective point of view I can absolutely agree with you. However, even though I’ve never been in a similar situation I am pretty sure that doing the right thing objectively would be a lot to ask of someone who isn’t currently capable of thinking straight.

ETA: thanks for the welcome

I feel like my time to shine has come here haha.

I’m 26, was diagnosed with a congenital heart disease before birth and have had 3 open heart surgeries. I have a mechanical valve and pacemaker and my parents have been told I may need a heart transplant in the future. I’m infertile because of the radiation and medication I’m on, and will be on a blood thinner for life. My parents were told to CONSIDER termination.

I always find it odd that this generation loves to post every single thing about their lives on SM. I don’t think Sarah needed to post this and it’s something she should’ve kept private. I do feel deeply sorry for her and Kurt as I’ve seen my mum (and dad) suffer because of my health condition, but my mum has never even mentioned the possibility of me not living a normal life despite my condition. I also find it odd that Kurt made it seem like it didn’t included him... I feel like publicising this was Sarah’s only wrong; they’ve already capitalised on a very private family matter and this is an opportunity for her to really grow up and be a mature mother.

So.......There was still no reason for her to remove the comments about Kurt's affair but leave the miscarriage rumours live.

I think some of these comments are very misinformed and very harsh. It’s made me want to take a step back.

I have a theory that if they ended up terminating the pregnancy she could pretend it was a miscarriage that caused them to lose the baby and 1) confirm what people were already believing and 2) uphold her Christian mummy blogger aesthetic which would have been called into question if she had terminated the pregnancy.

I’m no fan of Sarah but I do empathise with this. I’m older than her but I fall pregnant very easily, first cycle trying with each of my children (I get hyperemesis gravidarum, though). I’d still be devastated at the idea of terminating a pregnancy. My two month old was suspected to have heart abnormalities based on her nuchal screening and while thankfully she is fine it was awful worrying about it for weeks.

It feels wrong to be part of this thread now. Sarah's current issue doesn't absolve her from all the shit she's caused other women, but this is probably the hardest thing she's ever been through and as viewers, it's very easy to sit back and pick apart what she did, why she did it etc, but that doesn't make us right. I think my time here is done, I don't want to hate-watch or comment while another woman is struggling with something so heavy. I'm here because I hate her, but I think I'd rather just forget about her entirely now.
I will just add, perhaps she didn't address the MC issue because she was considering a termination. Like, didn't want to confirm "no it's not a miscarriage [I just might have to have am abortion]". She didn't want to go down that path of talking about her pregnancy ending either by MC or termination while she was still deciding what to do.

My (late to the party) thoughts, and some I’ve not seen mention med thus far:

1. Bit paradoxical that she’s all about research, yet bashes western medical doctors who produce said research: At one point I heard Kurt emphatically say how Scummy’s all over “GoOgLe ScHolAR!”, which a) is doubtful. And b) unless she’s paying to access individual articles - some of them are hundreds per read - or has an institutional subscription to multiple journals via a University (lol, we know that’s ship has sailed), then the most she’d be seeing on google scholar is abstracts, which doesn’t constitute DeEp ReSearcH. But let’s give Scummy the biggest benefit of the doubt in history, and assume she’s out here doing the most thorough systematic literature review evahhhh (ha!), and that she actually understands what she’s reading (HA!). Even then, does she not realise that the authors of these legitimate, peer reviewed, evidence-based articles, are physicians of modern medicine? As in, the same doctors she’s constantly rebuffing and criticising for not knowing/caring more about her body than she does? It is so weird and funny to me that she’s all about ‘self educating’ via doing random searches online, but won’t allow herself to be educated directly by experts who she’s literally paying to consult on her specific case. I think she just reads too much into people’s mannerisms, and if she hates their attitude or they don’t ‘vibe’ with her, then they are awful and their whole point/profession must be wrong.

2) Leading on from not vibing with the dr, am I the only one who thinks they we’re actually trying to be sensitive with the ‘you should start over’ comment? She made it out as if they said ‘kill your baby’, when actually, to me it seems like they chose their words quite delicately. The suggestion/option was framed more as an opportunity for a different, less complex experience, rather than one of loss.

3) Also interesting that there was apparently zero talk from the dr about her ‘PCOS’ or any hint of fertility issues. If she was at any risk of infertility or hints that TTC would be problematic, I highly doubt termination would’ve been the first recommendation (if in fact it was recommended as outright as she suggests).

4) The name: I think this was mentioned once above, but it sounds like they were perhaps considering a name that was strongly attached to expectations of being a specific ‘type’ of person - no doubt another surfy grom skater energetic most speshuuuull non-TV watcher boi evahhhh! And now that the child might/does have health concerns they can’t force him into that box. I mean, they can’t force Fox into that box either, but hasn’t stopped them trying. It sounds cruel, but it really seems like they don’t want to ‘waste’ their fave name.

Overall, vid underwhelming, still vague, leaves lots of room for the kind of speculation (on specific condition) they need to drive engagement.

New thread title suggestion:

Sarah’s Day #38 Questions about being vaccinated? Block and delete!

Good for searching on her name and vaccinated or block/ed.

I don’t feel like it’s appropriate to include anything related to her pregnancy in light of their current circumstances, regardless of the baiting. It would only justify her haters comments and I don’t think any one of us would ever wish this on her.

I was only talking about the doctors perspective and why he said that after some people here didn’t believe any doctor would advise to terminate.

Also when she said in the video they were trying for this baby as one of the reasons not to terminate it sounded like they tried for a long time. But she said that she fell pregnant at their first try during her pregnancy announcement.

No way would a termination at any stage or under any circumstances be easy even when you absolutely don’t want a baby. I can absolutely emphasise with that. Any women having an abortion for whatever reasons is a hard decision no matter their fertility.

And I wholeheartedly respect Sarah’s decision, I would never judge her for either choice she makes.

Just wanted to say that Tanika's most recent story shows her receiving flowers from her 'new workplace'. 100% confirmed Sezzy must have a new PA!!!

I agree 100%.

I've been reading this thread daily for almost a year, but after this I'm out. Don't get me wrong, I still believe Sarah is one of the most toxic and dangerous influencers out there and NEEDS to get cancelled asap, but I find some of the recent comments regarding her child's disability just deeply disturbing. I always felt this was a space full of intelligent strong empathetic women looking out for each other, educating each other and having so much fun while doing so (thanks for all the laughs in the last year, there have been many!), but now I feel differently.

I also am afraid this kind of narrative will deter many people from joining this thread and deprive them from having their eyes opened to all of Sarah's deeply problematic behaviours.

I don’t understand the obsession with whether sarah is vacccinated or not. It SHOULD be personal choice. Your body, your choice. She isn’t influencing anyone to have or not have the vaccine. Why do you wish her harm and to be cast out of society when in fact the whole situation going on in the world right now is appalling and many on here are openly enjoying the discrimination against normal , healthy humans
