I’m sorry but those baby led weaning stories really irritated me. Why is she always trying to prove the best mom? It’s just always quite obvious she has to the best at anything and throw subtle shade at anyone who does things differently?!? The comment about him only having purées once or twice? My 10 month old does a mix of BLW and purées (mostly purées right now as he’s teething a fussy) but now I feel tit about not giving him WhOLe FoOds ugh
Also not everyone has the privilege of “working” from home and the ability to “cook every meal”. Sorry sezz but I’m gonna go ahead and say you probably do duck all compared to 99% of other mums and that’s not me shaming that’s me giving you a reality check

Blw is not better than purées, both methods ensure a baby is having nutritious food and learning how to eat solids. Don’t feel bad over this idiot, sounds like you are doing a great job and being very responsive to your baby’s needs if you switch up his/her foods due to teething.

Also Sarah conveniently forgot to mention how many meals Fox eats alone in front of the tv! No judgement if she was honest about it but that didn’t seem to feature in her stories about how great a mum she is around toddler eating.

As someone in Melbourne with family in Sydney, watching your case numbers rise is terrifying. I'm thinking of you all and sending big hugs.
