This is all so hard for me to fathom. From central London to a woodland in Kent. So horrific and tragic, I couldn't even imagine such a situation in my worst nightmares.
RIP Sarah
RIP Sarah
You’ve said numerous times about his upbringing. The only behaviour that matters is HIS behaviour last week. And you’ve just plucked from thin air about his upbringing anyway, there’s been no reports of any bad upbringing whatsoever so why’s it even being mentioned? No one is excusing his behaviour![]()
It’s not necessarily blaming his mum. He might have had an abusive father, uncle, teacher, or someone else influential in his early development. People are understandably curious as to how and why this has happened. Your childhood experiences shape you as an adult. They were discussing this on loose women. How it becomes another way of blaming mothers (and therefore women) because they haven’t taught their sons not to be murderers or done good enough job.
This. Please let this be a catalyst for change. Please let this open up a new type of dialogue and please let action be taken. Women are being failed every single day. RIP Sarah and all the girls and women that have gone before - they deserved so much better.I’m so sorry Sarah. I hope there is justice for you.
We need to get change, not just for Sarah, but for every woman and girl who has faced violence and harassment from men. There needs to be a better future.
It's inappropriate to be speculating at this time. Nobody really knows anything at this time. I'm not convinced it even matters. It’s not necessarily blaming his mum. He might have had an abusive father, uncle, teacher, or someone else influential in his early development. People are understandably curious as to how and why this has happened. Your childhood experiences shape you as an adult.
There are no excuses. However mental health services are appalling in this country. Changes need to be made. You’ve said numerous times about his upbringing. The only behaviour that matters his is HIS behaviour last week. And you’ve just plucked from thin air about his upbringing anyway, there’s been no reports of any bad upbringing whatsoever so why’s it even being mentioned?
Even if his mummy forgot to tuck him in 40 years ago it doesn’t make his behaviour okay or justified, he’s had many years to sort those issues and if he has mental health issues like that has basically tricked himself into the met too
I will say it again. I am not excusing it. I am not saying it is ok because obviously it is NOT.You’ve said numerous times about his upbringing. I’m literally saying what they were discussing on loose women. Often mothers are blamed for their kids behaviour regardless of other things because mothers are supposed to be caring. It’s not necessarily blaming his mum. He might have had an abusive father, uncle, teacher, or someone else influential in his early development. People are understandably curious as to how and why this has happened. His behaviour has come from himself.I will say it again. I am not excusing it. I am not saying it is ok because obviously it is NOT.
His behaviour has come from somewhere. Everyone here is speculating and that’s all that we can do until more information is released.
I think you need to back off and calm down.
How far is that approximately? This is all so hard for me to fathom. From central London to a woodland in Kent. So horrific and tragic, I couldn't even imagine such a situation in my worst nightmares.

His behaviour may not have come from anywhere. It's really not appropriate to start speculating.I will say it again. I am not excusing it. I am not saying it is ok because obviously it is NOT.

Everyone learns as they grow up otherwise we would just be an adult with no ability to do anything. Positive and negative experiences shape people. His behaviour has come from himself.
Then is this thread appropriate? Probably notHis behaviour may not have come from anywhere. It's really not appropriate to start speculating.
Many rapes also don't make the statistics because they have to meet certain criteria. They have to be reported, investigated and then actually verified.Studies show that between 3-6% of men have grape a woman. 8% of rapes are stranger rapes, which are the type that concern women walking out alone. 8% of 6% equates to just less than 48/10000 men being a stranger danger, or 8% of 3% equates to 24 men in every 10000. That may well be a "tiny minority" of men, however, that also means there are dozens of potential predators in every town, and a couple even in tiny villages. Any of whom could be out specifically seeking a victim.
I’m perfectly calm. Don’t try and manipulate with ‘back off and calm down’ when my two replies have been perfectly calm.I will say it again. I am not excusing it. I am not saying it is ok because obviously it is NOT.

There is a map here. It's a considerable journeyHow far is that approximately?
About an hour and a half driveHow far is that approximately?
There's an interesting book called 'Without Conscience' that debunks a lot of that. He's what's called a high functioning or successful Psychopath.Everyone learns as they grow up otherwise we would just be an adult with no ability to do anything. Positive and negative experiences shape people.
Then is this thread appropriate? Probably not
