She's *actually* telling people something as a piece of 'BiZnEsS aDvIcE' that people already do with their tax money?! IS THIS WOMAN FOR REAL?!
That's literally like telling people "Hey guys, here's a tip - you should TOTALLY invoice for any service you provide a client, y'know, so you can get paid and totes make that dollar dollar"

I see she’s down the gym now instead of twerking in her garage (sorry HOME GYM!) wtf was the point in all that gear being added for her to go to the gym. Very strange
If she's insisting on spending on a gym membership, then she could at least consider selling her home gym to pay the people back that she stole from. Just an idea.
I get why people have home gyms: because sometimes you just don't have the time to go to the gym. But you really aren't in a position to both have a home gym, and a gym membership when you owe people money you acquired illegally, and decided to keep after (and while) gaslighting, bullying, deflecting and laughing your victims in the face in the aftermath.

UK blogger/influencer Sarah Akwisombe has recently been the focal point of a major controversy involving unethical selling of courses to the female SME sector, failed service delivery, false claims around revenues and results, and refusal to refund over £200k to clients affected by non-delivery of service.
Naturally, this has considerable potential to negatively impact the reputation of organisations she is working with (and has worked with previously), resulting in several already taking steps to distance themselves.
A brief summary of key events is below, followed by links to the national and international media coverage of the fallout from the situation:
- Sarah Akwisombe she was going to make a million pounds in lockdown and show everyone how she did it
- At the same time, launched multiple new group coaching courses as well as 1-2-1 coaching services
- Service levels for both group coaching/courses and private clients fall short after 4 months. People are unhappy
- Late September saw Sarah share a video saying she had "made a million".
- Days later, Sarah posts a video saying she had let everyone down, the service was poor, remaining months on the courses were cancelled
- Transpired the million pounds included forward booked business, so approximate splits were £600k banked, £400k forward booked and not yet billable
- Sarah Akwisombe deleted multiple social posts and videos as clients started to demand refunds
- Sarah starts blocking anyone who questions her
- Some people have been able to reclaim refunds from their banks, which is good news, many others still fighting. Sarah claims £75k refunded. At least £200k of refund claims currently being fought for by clients.

Doing the work to see the connections and care about the people she hurt? Hard pass. Playing nice on the surface, pretending she’s seeing the light because followers are fleeing by being «enlightened» by certain areas of a sketchy past? Apparently. I don’t think she’s enlightened or changed one bit. I had a look at her grid as I’ve been avoiding her for a while. First post I come across and she’s bragging about how she paid for her office outright. WITH MONEY YOU CONNED FROM PEOPLE.
She knows nothing about social media. I know of a couple of people who took her courses who had social media businesses, and she tried to tell them how to use it, and offered no new or correct insight - it’s all bullshit. I know enough about it to know that what she was telling them was off, and I think they definitely thought it too. This woman basically absorbs a small amount of info on any number of subjects and having the gift of the gab, presents herself as some kind of ‘expert’ on every single thing. she could have gone far had she actually turned her hand to something and actually STUCK IT OUT - yeah that’s right Sarah, for the long haul, rather than getting bored it wasn’t making her immediate millions, she threw the towel in on every single venture she’s tried.
Also, for Sarah to say she is ahead of what’s working on socials - so is using Instagram like a petulant 14 year old craving attention going to be the next trend? If so, you’ve nailed it.

Completely! Even the ‘social media’ courses she had available online were all garbage - full of information that was either out of date or (as with everything Sarah sells) available for free online elsewhere.
