The kids are in care, they’re not with his family. So that’s nice for them, dumped in a foreign country on their own.
I thought they were with relatives. According to this, from October this year.

I wouldn't have thought the Pakistani authorities would fight to keep them in care (at their cost) when they could easily be returned at the UK's cost. What would be the point? There must be someone with a vested interest in Pakistan fighting to keep them there.

The siblings have been returned to a family member (Grandfather I think) with interim custody until December. This was in October after the UK authorities requested they be returned to the UK.

The children need to be brought back to the UK, they are British citizens. It's incomprehensible that they've been taken into care in Pakistan. God knows what they're going through over there.

I wonder if there are things going on behind the scenes with efforts to get them back here.

I was going by this but it might have changed since

I think so. They might be British citizens but the parents are in jail in the UK. It might be more complex for Olga’s oldest, but basically they have got their grandad seeming to agree to have them there. A total mess. That boy should be thinking about GCSE’s and getting therapy, not looking after his siblings in a foreign country.

It’s the location is a bit…sexual overtones. I think there were multiple. But also they’d be well hidden so 🤷🏼‍♀️
The location is defo a CSA red flag.

I don't think I believe Sharif claiming that both Olga and Batool were violent to him and he was just the innocent victim of DV. With Batool I think she and Sharif were mutually abusive to each other like a Sarah Boone-Jorge Torres kind of relationship (presumably without the alcohol).

Also other tattlers have called it - Batool treated Sara wose cos she was mixed race. This is what happened with poor little Logan Mwangi and his racist piece of tit abuser.

I think she was only made to wear hijab outside? We don't know what she wore when she was in the house, which seems like it was a lot of the time. :-(
Yeah you don't need to cover in the house with your male relatives. Only with non related males, so outside the house or in case of male visitors.

This from the Facebook trial discussion but doesn’t give a source
I reckon Olga was trying to raise the alarm about Sharif being an abuser from 2015 and was probably ignored and fobbed off. I also bet that Sara's allegation of abuse against Olga was made at the behest of Sharif.

Totally agree. Sara was manipulated to claim that her mother abused her, because BB and US didn’t want to risk her injuries being seen.

I'm not sure about this. I suspect Olga might have been abusive to Sara. Something significant happened which made her lose custody.

If that timeline is true, Sara went into foster care as a baby? If that is true that would imply Olga isn't being entirely honest.

In every image of Batool her head is uncovered...in photographs; in the car arriving at airport parking; being arrested inside the plane on their return....no hijab, yet Sara was forced to wear it.

So Sara was in foster care before she was 2 years old? That means that the family have has SS involvement one way or another practically Sara’s whole life.

The whole case is looking like a monumental SS screw up. I'm not someone who is generally down on on social workers, I know they have HUGE case loads and are poorly paid. I know that we only ever hear about the disasters, we never hear about the thousands of kids whose lives will have been saved, because they were removed from abusive parents.

But when they get it really wrong, as they did here, kids die and they have to answer to that. There were so many red flags.

Sharif and Basool knew how to cover things up and conceal the cruelty from SS

that's what abusers do though, they should have been wiser to it.
Exactly. It’s a tale as old as time sadly. Many of the high profile child abuse/murder cases we’ve heard about in the media have had some kind of SS involvement and subsequent failure. So much for “lessons will be learnt.” They can’t keep trotting out that line when it means nothing, more has to be done.
