Yeah this is it isn’t it? You’re right. They could be well meaning and caring grandparents but I’m skeptical given what US was like and they raised him.
Well done to everyone involved in bringing them to justice. The poor jury, ordinary people plucked from their everyday lives and forced to bear witness to the absolute horror that was Sara’s short life. The most important job they would ever do and they got it right. I shed a few tears at the mention of Sara’s friends too. How can they comprehend that this girl they played with and laughed with and ate lunch with just disappeared from school one day never to return and that not only is she dead, she died in the worst way imaginable. I hope US and BB die in prison and that FM is haunted forever by what he did and didn’t do.
Yes I worry about the other children too, I know we shouldn’t make assumptions but given that 2 sons have turned out to be monsters and given that US father has downplayed what has happened and that the family initially hid them, I don’t have much faith that they are “good people”.
I think it's important that the judge made it clear that the minimum term does not guarantee release at that time or anytime after. If they ever are released they will be on license for the rest of their lives. They will not receive normal freedom.

He did refer twice to Olga’s son the older brother being encouraged to mistreat Sara and to bully her.
He'll probably go back home, I guess he'll have to, he was only here on a student visa.

I think they should all be deported to serve their sentences in Pakistan, wouldn't that be lovely for them
This has been such a distressing case. I truly agree with the judge that it was inconceivable. That poor tortured girl. I hope the judge and legal team have good support and counseling. Does anyone on hear truly know if they will get a hard time in prison, or will being a target put them in a place of safety. Ie they get a one of beating and then moved to a special wing for protection?
Imagine being housed in their house now. Everyone knows what happened there.
I think most child abusers get a hard time. Not sure about BB as she will be put with other women who've killed children in a women's prison
I was thinking too, the youngest child was quite young (carried in the airport) and they had to use FM’s credit card to book flights as they didn’t have enough money - so they definitely weren’t planning a trip - it’s ‘lucky’ they all had a passport, even the children.
I'd be surprised if there's anyone there at the house but there will most likely be someone in the flat

Just so, so sad to slowly deteriorate like that, in horrific pain, wounds infected, suppurating, smelling, all while this lively household is going on around you, children, family meals etc. The burns in particular, jeez the pain. And the sheer loneliness to know that your 'parents' who should love you the most are not there for you, in fact are hurting you

I listened to most of the sentencing earlier but stopped as I was getting upset. That poor child, I hope she has a fantastic next life with parents who dote on her. 
Not exactly the same but my friend was stabbed to death by his partner outside her house and they found it really hard to rent the house out afterwards because of what had happened there, can’t even imagine living in that house knowing what happened in them 4 walls
