I hope they suffer in there. In her police interview BB looked way too smug for my liking. I hope someone wipes that look off her face in the most painful way possible!

BB was concerned about losing her children to SS. It’s much worse than that, they're in a different country and she’s in jail.
We will likely see lots of news reports about the three now that the sentencing has been made, and I suspect it’ll be particularly unsavoury reading 
Hearing it all in one go was hard.
The jury must have been through absolute horrors.
I feel the judge did the best he could do within the law. No WLO but in effect US won't be out alive.

I'm not happy about Faisal Malik's sentence, he'll serve 12 years minus time served, he'll be 40 when he gets out and can live the rest of his life. Not good enough.
The judge said Beinash Batool couldn't leave as she did not have support, however, she already knew there was support available as she had sought it for herself when she was 18, she chose not to leave because she wasn't the main target

40 years is good, he won't get out, he's in his 40s and won't be making old bones in jail.
Disclaimer I do not give a tiny tit for BB - however it's got to be hard on her being apart from her kids (good), hopefully she'll never see them again.

The judge was remarkable, speaking without a break for the hour and his composure throughout.
Praise for the prosecution team and jury and everyone involved in bringing those utter rum to trial.

Yes, I think it’s the best we could hope for given the sentencing guidelines, and her age compared to US makes a big difference too.
He said something about another child being encouraged to abuse her and the eldest boy's dental records had been accessed so I assumed a child had told them that because as far as I read it wasn't given as evidence during US testimony
I would be interested to know if they could be prosecuted in Pakistan, given there's no extradition. Perhaps they thought returning here would be preferable. Well welcome to the UK!

I’m worried for the other children being with their father’s family, especially if US believed what he was doing was legal punishment by a parent. Was that considered normal in his family? Especially if FM could turn a blind eye to it as well. Also the fact that the younger ones have ASN and two are female - it’s not racist to say that female lives often mean very little in certain cultures.
I don't think they had a choice, although they couldn't be extradited, the Pakistani authorities put a lot of pressure on.
And her twins were accessing the appropriate education and support in the UK. They’ve lost that and that will influence the rest of their lives.
I could imagine BB to be a absolute bleep inside and think she’s a hard knock because she thinks she’s done nothing wrong, hopefully enough to never be eligible for parole due to her behaviour
The judge’s repeated use of the word torture was so important.
I'd rather someone else "help" him achieve that goal when he least expects it, with maximum pain too.
I think the best thing would be the care system in the UK, whilst that would usually be my idea of hell for a kid it would be better than with a rit family in a foreign country. But I guess we don't know, they could be decent caring grandparents (unlikely considering how 2 of their sons turned out), but it must be a culture shock for the older boy.
Edit - actually they must be pretty old, they have a 43 year old son. Toddlers and kids with additional needs won't be easy for them.
