Every few years someone tries to use Satanism/The Devil for attention and he is just the latest to do it. He is getting attention but not the 'Oh my god!' kind. It's more 'we have seen this so many times before it's just dated now' eye rolls.
This get-up reminds me of the Halloween costume version of the devil for kids. They put it on and their parents will pretend they looked terrifying and are scared of them. With Sam, instead of the parents, it's his pals saying 'Yeah, mate you look right freaky and you are gonna have everyone talking!' and while they are right, I don't think us all laughing about how bad he looks was what they meant or what he was after. I'm honestly surprised the COS hasn't threatened to sue him yet for making them look like idiots.

What happened to Brianna was tragic. But I don't see anyone virtue signalling over the myriad of women that are killed every day by men, as a result of domestic violence. Shame on this attention seeking embarrassment to use the death of a teenager to virtue signal - bleeping appalling.
Sam Smith should have to have an 'in memoriam' constantly rolling behind him throughout the concert of everyone that's ever died.

I came across some dreadful comments made towards Sam Smith on other social media platforms the other day, some made by teachers.
One in particular really stood out to me.
"I wish this large mess would f*** off and go k*** himself. Even better if it was made into a video for us all to laugh at and watch over and over at our pleasure. What a waste of oxygen he is" that comment had a lot of likes on it.
Regardless of what anyone thinks of Sam Smith, comments like that are truly vile and disturbing and no one should ever have to read something like that about themselves. What's worse is that comment was made by someone who works with children, it made me feel a bit ill if I'm being honest with you.

Yeah, the internet is a cess pit and anyone telling anyone to go kill themselves is disgusting. Shouldn’t be tolerated anywhere. We say nothing of the sort on here but here is a space to express opinion. Sam’s just a mess who’s ruining his career with ridiculousness but for me, the bigger picture is more concerning.
I couldn’t give a flying rit what pronouns he/she/they use. That’s his/her/their life. What is concerning is performing on stage doing a very sexually suggestive dance routine and wearing basically what was bondage gear. Fine if it was an adult audience who knew what it was all about, but there were young children in the audience which he obviously knew about the youngest being 6 years old. There were no warnings that the show would contain adult themed content. Is that truly acceptable? Because some people seem to think it is and label you bigoted etc..if you said anything negative about it because in their one track minds they think you are objecting to gender identity. I don’t. Live and let live.
Now let’s flip the coin. There are the same aged children at another show. A heterosexual woman comes onto a stage wearing the same type of outfit ,starts gyrating sexually suggestively then strips off. There would be complete outrage and rightly so.

I saw Sam Smith at a festival well over 10 years ago they hadn't released his debut album yet and I'd say there was 50 of us in the tent it was about 3 in the afternoon. I was blown away by his voice it was amazing. Its a shame he is doing all this mad satanic attention grabbing stuff. I hope he is OK. I don't think so but I wish he would go back to what they were good at just singing and not all this silly dressing up.
