Sam needs help!
As much as it's kinda fun taking the piss of his hideous outfits I actually think he needs some serious help now. Probably surrounded by YES people, wear this Sam etc etc etc. He never looks happy and I fear for his mental health.

And yes, I know I've taken the piss many many times of the stupid outfits - but something doesn't seem right does it?

Definitely not. He must have people around him telling him “slay Queen” and how amazing he looks.

“This person is wearing clothes I don’t like, so must be mentally ill” continues to be a bizarre take.

They are supposed to be dating some designer. They have been papped cuddling a few times. I'm all for someone wearing what they want regardless of what anyone else thinks but when it starts to risk your health then it isn't really worth it. You can see their stomach is all red from the top being too tight on them and I don't even want to think about what it's doing to their circulation.

Sam, you're not sexy. And that's okay.
You were marketed as the relatable guy, the people's champ, a Susan Boyle.
It's too late in the game to aggressively revamp into a bad witch. It looks so forced.

I've been trying to figure out why Sam gives me the ick. Why I find them to be a black hole of unsexiness. And I think it's their mouth.

It just doesn't sit right, and try as hard as sam does, the mouth is just unsexy, no amount of pouting works, so Sam is just a try hard, with zero sex appeal. No amount of latex or bondage, or clomping around in high heels will work. Sam is just an unsexy, non binary body with no charisma

The entertainment bloke on Lorraine just called Sam Smith he/him numerous times, even after correcting himself. Will be interesting to see what uproar that causes

This is the thing, even if you do have the intention of calling someone by the pronouns they’ve asked, it’s so easy to revert back to what you previously knew/referred to them as.

Demi Lovato asked to be called they/them a few years ago, and once most people got used to it, she then said she felt feminine again and starting going by she/her again…

it’s unrealistic to 1). expect everyone to know what pronouns you go by, and 2). get everyone to change their speech patterns and expect them to have that split second initiative all the time where they ‘correct’ themselves.

Even some of the people on here that berate others about their ‘incorrect’ pronoun usage slip up sometimes, then you get them mixing ‘they’ in the same sentence as ‘he’. Of course if you mention it they’ll then go back and edit it like it never happened, but it would be much more productive if they asked themselves why that happened and why they feel so compelled to ignore the evidence of their own eyes and self censor themselves just to comply.

This is the thing, even if you do have the intention of calling someone by the surname they’ve asked, it’s so easy to revert back to what you previously knew/referred to them as.

Cheryl Tweedy asked to be called Cheryl Cole a few years ago, and once most people got used to it, she then said she was divorcing and starting going by just Cheryl again…

You can hear the presenters on radio 1 take a breath and pause before they say his pronoun cos they're so scared of getting it wrong and their whole career ending.

It's ridiculously unfair for them to feel such pressure AND ask them to buy into the madness.

I mostly listen to 6 Music, whenever they play Ezra Furman (transitioned to female but still sounds like a male) and Kae Tempest (non binary) they just tend to repeat their names over and over rather than get preferred pronouns wrong.

Looool except that isn’t a change in speech pattern is it? Calling a bloke they/them is against conventional English grammar norms.

I do wonder how you and some others would react to a son or daughter of theirs telling them that they wish to be referred to using pronouns. Would you take the piss out of them?
I’ve got an 8 year old who came home with this bull. I humoured him with it and now he’s doing something else this week.

Safe to say Azealia Banks is not a fan. (this was her IG story a few days ago)
