โWhat have you achieved in your life....?โ
Come here and I tell ya. I am 35, in the past 8 years I have battled through cancer (actual cancer Sal, not a made up diagnosis) have had 13 surgeries with several more to go, I completed 2 bachelor of science degrees (studying in college at night) and a post grad specialised cert, while juggling surgeries, side effects, menopause, chronic pain, 2 children (who I have full custody of - they are actually beside me now helping to do the christmas decorations), I also run a whole support network which I built from scratch and is used by hundreds of women. I do awareness work and campaigns with several charities and health organisations and I am currently preparing to undertake another degree while having surgery every 6 months to try save my bladder for as long as we can before that gets yanked out of me like my whole reproductive system was. (And every surgery is a massive risk because I have a bleeding disorder..) And this is just the short version...
You might think the people on here have sad lives and are just jealous of you but you know what, even though my life is very hard some days and my mental health (actual confirmed diagnosis aswell) really limits me, I would not swap any of that to be like you. Isnt it a sad state of affairs when someone like me - who is in a daily battle with the devastation that cancer left on their mind and body - would rather keep living that life than have yours?
Think about that hun
