I always find it rather cringe when rich people try play coy about the fact they’re rich online. I’d happily much rather watch a rich witch being a rich witch than overexplaining every purchase she makes! I’m not saying Saff is this; I actually like Saff as an influencer, however most influencers I’ve followed in the past I’ve ended up unfollowing and straight up disliking because it feels way worse to follow someone you know is just paying lip service and being fake about finances, than someone who says “yeah, I don’t work because I don’t need to”. I don’t need everything I see online to apply to me and my financial situation because I’m well aware that rich people exist regardless, haha. I never catch the girls in Selling Sunset explaining their ridiculous Chanel basketball purses etc. but that’s a thing influencers tend to do and it’s sooo rank. I don’t need to hear that they’re “super lucky and understand how privileged they are to be in that position” or any of that balls, I just think… own it, people!

I’ve worked with car brands on collabs before and if she’s hoping to bag a freebie new car, good luck! Influencers with four/five times her reach might get a loaner for a few weeks but an outright grift is basically unheard of unless you’re Kylie Jenner.

Small but I actually really rate how she's responded to the infamous comment on her tiktok, so many influencers automatically jump to being mean when comments aren't that bad

Maybe I've overly cynical but any time an influencer tags a brand I assume they're either hoping for a freebie or it's an ad they've not declared! (though Saf is good about declaring her adverts)
Similarly, when they go "Looking for recs for XXX" with the suggestion box, I just assume they want a brand to slide into the DMs.
Yep, definitely faking being refreshing and instead hoping a car brand will offer a collab. In fact her management team are probably reaching out to them for her. Once you observe these influencers for long enough, you realise everything is incredibly well planned to get as many freebies and to make as much money from their followers as possible.
