They're crazy in the documentary. Of course everything was easier before they started vlogging, they didn't have 4 kids, six dogs, and a business to run. EVERYONE'S life is easier before they start adulting. I'm beginning to think that they're incapable of telling the truth, and Jonathan really does not like when people disagree with him. Stacey was walking on eggshells as to not offend, and he very clearly gets offended easily. Also, something is not right with Anna. She's maniacal about her appearance and her image, posting nonsense online, but incapable of simple, friendly, relationships in real life. We joke about him gaslighting her, but something has happened. She's not just being introverted.

1.i told my mum about their dogs, shes never watched them before, and said that they have a dog walker, dont walk themselves and are barely allowed anywhere in the grey palace. and she said if you're not going walk them or anything then why have em? also said about when sina broke her back and them being loose in the car. didnt look impressed. do people think that there was something more sina breaking her back, seeing as the footage seems to be cut off and has been edited. wonder if one of the kids landed on her?
2. what total bullshit! i agree he must be a miracle worker if he can get 22 mins out of 5/10 min of footage. i know at this point they were only posting every other day but still!

also on another note. i cannot wrap my brain around their fans calling them good parents and saying they shouldnt have to defend themselves for giving her a cold shower and admitting it in their vlog. i honestly cannot wrap my brain around it! side note. i have Aspergers so i see things like that as black and white. i have a very strong sense of right and wrong and to me that was just wrong. i've been smacked and i did not enjoy it. not much but i didn't learn anything so! alessia didnt know why she'd punished. you need to explain to kids what they've done wrong and use the naughty step or time out. it is a lot more effective. they have to sit there for a minute for of every year of their age so for alessia two minutes and they have to finish the time. every time they get up the time starts again. kids dont want to be in time out (or cold showers) they want to be playing. once they've done their time you explain what they did wrong then give them a cuddle and remove them from time out/the naughty step. its called positive reinforcement. with the cold showers that's negative reinforcement. its a psychological theory. i did psychology as an as level and we learnt about it. look up a chap called stanley milgram and his experiments with punishments. very interesting.

Also, Stacey was so natural with Edwardo. Reading with him, wishing him goodnight without a camera glaring at him, getting down to his level to talk to him at the farm. All of the things we never see his parents do with him. No wonder he loved her.
