She’s essentially posted an advert....how she can feel comfortable with all the freebies she got for that baby?! She disgusts me. She’s such a smug little cow and she couldn’t resist mentioning the food their friends dropped round was from F&M 🙄 I really thought she’d struggle (as I did) but then I didn’t have people waiting on me hand and foot while I lay in my #gifted bed. I had to get on with it and juggle having a baby alongside everything else....which I think is the norm for many of us!

I’m sorry to hear you had PND. I hope you’re ok now? I agree with that you’ve written. Seeing Grabbys perfect little life would be mess with the head of many new mums. She has no idea how lucky she is
Sorry I didn’t have PND, but what I meant was 2 nights on post natal, tricky birth, but of incontinece, stitches etc then a tough start to breastfeeding, house looked like a bomb had hit it, no good in, late night dash to get. formula to try etc etc All of which was horrible at the time but balanced out by the love for my son - and I think experiencing at least some of those things is a more typical experience! But yes, her stories should carry a health warning for other FTMs.

sorry my mistake. We had a very similar experience by the sounds of it. And a more typical experience like you say

Rebecca brags a lot - but read between the lines.

She was ‘in shock’ after the baby arrived, which makes me think she had a fast birth which isn’t necessarily a good thing. She posted on stories she had ‘the worst night of my life’ which probably means the baby screamed all night. The baby also had a tongue tie, so establishing breastfeeding hasn’t been straight forward. The walks each day are possibly due to her obsessive need to exercise.

It’s all smoke and mirrors. I imagine for someone as self-centred as Rebecca the whole experience has been overwhelming and confronting - but her feed depends upon her presenting the pretence of a stepford wife life.

One of her best friends is Faye so I assumed this was from her and her husband as she would have said Fortnums rather than F&M surely?

Fast birth from continued clary sage use? The smugness drips from her stories.

Yes, this!

I have a very good friend who does this an awful lot, pretends everything is rosy and carefully constructs her words and actions, when the reality is a lot different.

Fast birth from continued clary sage use?
It wasn’t just clary sage. There were at least two sweeps, raspberry leaf tea, walking and swimming the baby out. 😑 Plus I’m sure I saw massage and acupuncture appointments, too.

That’s a ton of intervention for a first baby who was only a day overdue!

Saw the buggy, but not a sling.
One of her stories she had the baby in a soft (?) wrap rather than a baby carrier type. Can't think of the word I want to describe it but I spotted the change and the buggy and thought that is why we are getting a sudden burst of pictures which cover all of our complaints. 😂
