If her kids can stay in the same nursery she has not moved near the coast. If she was living on the coast they would have moved to a different county.

I can’t believe she left the Georgian beauty. That house was 😍😍😍😍😍. As someone said mid century in that house worked. Mid century in a 1970s might be overkill.
I like her taste though & she seems very normal & likeable.
I couldn’t believe it either, but Ruth seems to get antsy and has an itch to move every few years. She’s never happy in one place for long. It crossed my mind that maybe they had to move due to finances. What on earth did they do with that giant statue that was in the yard?

Left him with the property. I really can’t see it being to do with finances because they’ve not sold the old house as of yet (the land registry is still in their name)

I don’t think Ruth is as harmless as she likes to pretend. She had so many expensive items in that house gifted to her and I think it’s extremely dishonest to have your house painted, decorated, carpeted and furnished with freebies and then sell it all for a profit.

She’s no better than any of the other InstaHuns who get everything handed to them for free. In fact, she’s worse because she’s actually profiting from handouts. There’s something so morally wrong about a wealthy person being gifted freebies when so many can hardly afford to put a roof over their heads. Shameless

I tend to agree. It does annoy the hell out of me when influencers who are extremely wealthy get stuff for free (and often even make money on said things with affiliate links etc)

Just had a nose through this thread as she moved over towards my area (vaguely) and I was never a fan of the old house except for the extension they did. I unfollowed her ages ago but am intrigued by a new move to nose at...

she left her postcodev visible and I could see a house sale in that postcode for 1.2mil?

All the houses listed recently for sale aren’t of the era she specific though, but yes there is actually one on street view that looks modern... impossible to find pictures though. Lots of houses have similar names there too.

I’m pretty certain I found it. I wasn’t that interested but I do love me a Miss Marple moment. It’s related to a type of bread/milling and it’s modern and I think is ripe for refurb. I can not remember how I found it but various versions of “house in ..”

I love how active this thread is at the prospect of a bit of mystery/property nosiness 😂

Almost makes me hope that we only get sneak peeks at different corners of the house to stretch the excitement out.

I'm so invested in finding her new home, in a non-stalkerish way. I'm saving up for my first home (no where near her budget) so I'm well versed in scrolling through Rightmove etc. If only we had a picture of the fireplace she uploaded! I've found a house sold in Sept 2020 but can't be sure!

Wasn’t “the uphill” the name of her baby blog? 🤓
HAHA I did see that but the fireplace she showed wasn’t in plus she said it needed a lot of work which that doesn’t look like it did. There was one I saw on street view that I think could be it.

neither of the two houses sold in that postcode look like midcentury or have to die for views
