tipuric is such a great player. he struggled a bit with being compared to warburton so much earlier in their careers but i always thought he was the better player!

finn seems a slightly difficult character imo, especially after reading the bbc article about him this week! he didn’t speak about any coaching staff with great warmth and basically implied that he coaches himself at racing because the coaches there speak french (so maybe learn some key phrases finn?!
) i get why he might be hard to coach, even with all his talent, but from a scotland pov they need him. i don’t remember much drama around gregor getting the job though! i only really remember “bunny gate” and all that nonsense. i do think they wanted cotter gone at that point and probably picked fast, but he’s been great for them so far.
agreed. i think the payoff you get with finn is so huge and he’s such a talent that any coach would be happy to deal with him being hard work off the field.
