i googled and you’re (technically) right - the australia game was in florence so not their usual “home” ground i suppose. sergio parisse was an outstanding player, could have achieved so so much on a different team (also sad that his final game/retirement was so muddled and messed up. never quite had the send off he deserved).

knew france would batter england. england cannot compete with that level of creativity - it’s the polar opposite to their style.

this france team is something else. they play with such confidence with each other and just go through the phases perfectly.
they have so much talent across the board: it’s madness. they also seem to have lost the unpredictability of a lot of past french teams. still hoping for some kind of scandal where it is revealed dupont is welsh and has to play for us instead
Am abit annoyed about your post, there are some teams I like seeing 'beat' but I don't gloat about it, I give credit where it's due, am not here to ag off other teams, am here to enjoy the matches.
i think it really hard on the English couching team, they don’t have much time left to test players in difficult games. No team can be turned around over night. I would never discount England doing well at the World Cup thou.
it’s tough because, like they said on the commentary last night, what we watched was really england’s first team (except maybe with farrell in the starting line up). they’re pretty short on other options.

it’s not their fault, but the play should have been stopped instantly when the new ball was used. they can’t let it happen just because ireland scored, even if it does seem unfair.Scotland threw the new ball in. Ireland got try but disallowed because of the new ball.
