Not surprised Stuart Hogg got off with a slap on the wrist. I'll be very surprised if he manages to stick to his restraining order. I think it'll be more likely than not he'll spend some time at His Majesty's Pleasure over the next couple of years.

Also, I'm not from his neck of the woods (though from my username of course I am Scottish) but I was speaking to someone from Hawick a couple months back. He said that word on the street there is that he didn't actually retire as such. The guy was telling me that there's a rumour that he announced his retirement as he tested positive for cocaine and his comeback is actually him just coming back from a quiet ban.

I don't know if it's bullshit or not but it sounds like it could well be plausible.

It should be wales based on last year 😂😂 maybe we need a relegation zone 🙈🙈🙈
I think Georgia deserve a shot. Or maybe they could have a second tier 6 nations six Portugal, Georgia etc? They keep banging on about growing the game that would be a good way to do it. Maybe play some of the games before or after the 'actual' 6 nations like they sometimes do with the women's games before or after prem games.

Missed the match last night, was a bit surprised at the score. Did Ireland just not really turn up? Or were France just excellent?
I think a bit of both tbh. France were excellent. Ireland didn't really show up until the subs came on in the 2nd half.

Maybe Wales are beginning to turn the corner.
Good to see.
I hope Italy continue to progress too, there's no point in having whipping boys in a group of only 6 sides.
The more competitive the 6 Nations is, the better.

It was tasteless what she did, but now I’m actually thinking more that he was behind it. It’s a way of not only marking his new territory but also dropping hint that would get to gill. Especially if he was asked to leave her alone.
im not saying she’s not to blame but i think he had a lot to do with it. And if its her social media it cant bite him on the arse can it

Former Scotland rugby captain Stuart Hogg has been fined £600 for breaching his bail conditions plus a non-harassment order for 5 years
But Sentencing for the charge of domestic abuse has been deferred until January.

Delighted for the Irish win but gutted for Wales. Really thought they were going to pull off a shocker

Don’t, I can’t bear another one. I feel sick seeing Ed Slater pop up incase we’ve lost him
Lewis Moody was a total head case on the field, I loved his way of playing back. Sadly it was when maybe we didn’t protect people enough, and looking back, we are here now. We didn’t know what we didn’t know back then And it’s awful, I’m sure the medics would love a Time Machine, and I hope a lot of them like James Robson are not blaming themselves for what they didn’t know.
I know MND is something more than just head knocks, and concussion causing it, but still. Between that and all the other players who have been ill of that era, it hits hard. Him, and Doddie were from the era that got me to adore rugby and the more we lose through a number of health stuff the sadder I feels

Such sad news about Lewis Moody being diagnosed with MND:(
I really feel devastated by this, he is such a lovely guy (not that this wouldn't be heartbreaking even if he wasn't). Really hope there's some focused research happening given how many players have been diagnosed in recent years.
