I don't think she finished or published anything else than her Erimentha. She said many times she was working on her novel but I think she changed for another subject.
It was 'Lottie Parton is a Bad Friend' - Ruby's shameless ripoff of 'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder' and other popular YA mysteries. She had deadlines for her literary agent so they could shop it to publishers, but nobody wanted it.
Ruby shelved the book as soon as she got hit with rejections and claimed that ACKSHUALLY she didn't want to publish it anyway, THANKYEUVARRYMOCH.
She pivoted to trying to publish a Lemony Snicket knock-off instead. Her agent wasn't interested. Since then she's been crapping out random first drafts of other books cannibalised from existing works, but is no closer to a book deal.

Depends what you're after but I love my Hobonichi avec - one notebook for half the year and plenty of space on each page plus monthly pages too. You can get them A6 or A5 if you need more room!
Is it a metaphor? Is she oblivious or is that being kept in the frame for inexplicable aesthetic

So in the new videos she admits "there was a point where I doubted if I want to stay in academia". So, that`s her plan I guess..

Ruby, babes, you haven't explained how you're feeling at all. We, your captive audience, have no concept of what you're talking about when you say this. The video started 30 seconds ago with you sitting in the grass and meditating. Going off the available context clues, I'm gonna assume that you're feeling super zen right now. As an 'author' you should know better.
Also, it's absoloutely mental to me that her desitation is due in 5 days and she's gallivanting around to cafes, orchestra showcases, balls, formals, viewer meet-ups, and museum events. She's had all year to do these things, but saves them to crunch time. Classic Rubles.

Her dissertation looks to have been a hot mess - if she was finding books four days before it was due, and then ”found an essay that looks to be almost identical to mine” two days before, she has to have been scrambling like mad and had probably either left it too late, or been told it wasn’t good enough and she had to change direction (marigolds! embroidery!). Essays possibly making the same argument you’re making don’t just randomly turn up at the last minute, you’re finding them because either you’ve only arrived at your argument relatively recently, or you’re tit at searching databases.
Also, she will literally pull a can of KOMBYOOOCHA out of a fresh parcel containing a whole case of them that’s obviously been shipped to her, and yet not declare the ad.
