It's becoming obvious that she has had enough of her degree hence the fact that she doesn't want to talk about it and isn't as interested in it as she was before as she is more interested in working on her novel than actually studying. This video is giving me very weird vibes as something is definitely off with Ruby because even back home she isn't her usually bubbly self.

I just started watching the latest video, but omg doesn't she have bigger problems on her mind than making a pouch and getting bird seed? Isn't she close to finishing her MA? She sounds like a protagonist of a child's book, with imaginary problems and completely divorced from reality.
Also, the pavement on their patio is overgrown with moss. It's sad to see that they do not take care of that nice house they have. Once the moss starts growing, so can some other grass, which can lead to crackling and destruction of the pavement. For a family that travels a couple of times a year and lives in such a nice house they can be so trashy...

She finishes her Masters in June but she doesn't seem engaged in the degree at all as in the video she spent more time writing her novel than studying for her dissertation. Something just feels off with her at moment because even back home she isn't her usual bubbly self.

That'd actually make sense, I always thought she'd keep 'studying' but in Exeter before the big Oxford announcement, and in a different subject.

You can't buy birdseed without first getting a croissant. Yeah, I can. This felt more like a sponsor for birdseed than anything else. The way she shoves the heavy bag on top of her books in her knapsack. I can't anymore. Oxford has officially turned her into a complete idiot.
I noticed she supposedly filmed this video on the 1st of April yet she has only just released it now nearly 2 weeks later. I wonder why it took her so long to upload it especially when she isn't at Oxford.
Imagine if she just drops out of Oxfud and chooses to never talk about it, like it never happened

I think the dissertation is the only thing she has left now. She’s being oddly quiet about it.
She's seems to be doing some critical reading and research for her dissertation but like Griftwood says she has been oddly quiet about it as she hasn't mentioned what topic she is doing. It was noticeable in this video though that she spent more time working on her novel than actually studying for her dissertation.

I think Ruby tries to look scruffy and dirty on purpose because it fits in with her childlike fantasy. I also think she sees herself as ‘the tomboy of the rich family who is expected to wear nice clothes and act proper but she really just wants to climb trees and twirl in mud and get covered in paint and is so misunderstood by her family who wouldn’t dream of letting their daughter look and act like the poor farmers children from down the road!’
