What these have in common is that she's not cosplaying as a WW2 orphan. Some people can pull off dressing vintage but it takes a bit of effort to avoid looking like an old lady or a child. Usually you need to style your hair and wear makeup to look chic and cohesive. And she doesn't do that bc it's too grown up for her80% of the time her outfits are misses. She still has the same literary agent for now, but I can't imagine they'll keep Ruby on the books indefinitely considering it's gaining them nothing but wasted/unpaid time, shoddy, plagiarised first drafts and endless rejections.It’s been a while, I seriously wonder how Ruby’s writing is going? I never would have guessed the title was referencing Ye Olde Medieval Fences. Let's hope there's more to the plot than 'we've lost our fence' because that doesn't sound very engaging.
